Has there really been 17 cross over characters, well yes according to TV tome but i can't think of 17 lets see there is:
1. spike
2. angel
3. wesley
4. Cordelia
5. Buffy
6. Faith
7. willow
8. Oz
9. Harmony
10. Andrew
11. Anne
12. The scourge (i' not sure about this one but they did have a remarkable resemblence to the demons buffy fights in S3, episode 1)

... and thats all i can think off, are there anymore?
 
Weeeell, there's Darla, that makes 13...

And, The Master was in Angel...but I dunno whether that counts as a crossover or not...

Definitely not 17...methinks thats a typo...or...just people being stoopid...
 
Would the characters of Liam and Angelus apply. That's kind of stretching it I think. I think the voice of Dawn says "Hello" once when Angelus is checking to see which slayer is in town. Cordelia talks on the phone to one of the old Cordettes, and Angel talks to Giles (again stretching it).

Then again TVTome is written by fan input, so maybe that's what's happening. They're stetching the facts.

Who are weatherby, smith, collins and gypsy man, when did the master appear on angel?
 
Weatherby, Smith, and Collins are the Watchers who tried to apprehend Faith in Season 4 of Buffy and later Season 1 of Angel.

I believe Gypsy Man to be the person to curse Angelus with his soul.
 
The master was on Angel around s3 in a Darla flashback.
I cannot remember how many people were on both shows 😱

The Master was on Angel in Season 2 the episode "Darla". It shows how Darla was made into a vampire by him.
