I'm not sold on Dragon's Age yet. It's certainly gotten better from the beginning (though I've not really played it that much yet) but I'm just not hooked the way I was with Destiny, COD or ACU.

Bloodborne I'm going to have to force myself to pick up again.

Tried out Final Fantasy XIV and I was so underwhelmed. The graphics are great, but the interface is so clunky and it took me hours to install the thing.

I needed to play a great RPG for the PS4 or XBOX ONE. I wanted to play something awesome with a great story. But I did not want to play an online game like Warcraft. When Dragon Age came out, It felt godsent. It has this ability to keep me engaged in this linear adventure where I think I have the control... But I really don't. I love it.

I want to play Destiny so bad. But I think I would just go in and get shot in the face before I even start to think about leveling up. Call of Duty just becomes to repetitive for my book.

I have great expectations for the next Assassins Creed game though. Hope it pulls through

The game itself of Destiny is very good and playable. The online multiplayer, yeah you will just get shot in the face lol. Though I just switched up my internet connection to wired from wireless so I'm hoping that was the issue (but it probably wasn't lol).

Is the story of Destiny good? There is an expansion pack coming for the game

I personally like the storyline. And despite the fact that there are bad reviews out there, I really like Peter Dinklage as the voice of your "sidekick". I will definitely pick up that expansion at some point, and I'm not really the person that has to have every expansion pack to every game.

I was really disappointed in Destiny actually. On the trailers it looked awesome, but on a whole, the game just felt incomplete. It's fun, but it's nothing too special.

DooM 64 and Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director's Cut

I knew there was a DooM game on N64 but for some reason I always thought that it was just a simple port - well, turns out it's not just a simple port, it's a whole new badass DooM I never got to play and it's awesome! Basically, the game feels like a missing link between heavy metal: the game of the classic DooMs and the claustrophobia and terror of DooM 3 ( yes, I love DooM 3, deal with it! ) Less enemies, high-resolution sprites, Quake-like lighting, creepy atmospheric soundtrack, obscenely powerful super shotgun. I play it using a modern source-port with mouse controls and so on, it's great!

Dragonfall...where do I start? I was expecting this game to be good, it got some great reviews from actual enthusiasts and all that but holy shit, I was not expecting it to be this good. I mean, it's pretty much flawless, legitimately one of the best RPGs I've played in the last 10 years. I could talk about the story, the writing, the companions, the combat system but those are not the most important things. In my opinion RPGs are about immersion, about making the players feel like the characters they're role-playing as, for example, Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines makes you feel like a dirty vampire in 90s LA, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games make you feel like a stalker trying to survive in the zone, Morrowind makes you feel like a N'wah and this game - this game makes you feel like a shadowrunner in an anarchist Berlin of the future.

Currently playing Final Fantasy IV: The After Years on my android tablet. Not as good as Final Fantasy IV on its own, but lots of extras and new stories which make it overall pretty good to play (levelling up is a bit of a nightmare though).

I am loving Dragon Age Inquisition - took a little to get into it but now I'm hooked. And I think there's enough content to play it forever lol

Blaze: lol that's totally happened to me before. Once I played too much Mario Kart and I kid you not, I saw some dam blue shells in my dream

Finished Lifeline on my phone, kept the guy safe all the way through on my first go - cried at the end!
Started Lifeline 2, but it's no way as good as the original
    Also enjoying Plague Inc immensely!

On my PC, I have Dragon Age, but not played in ages. I keep going back to the Sims 4 every so often. I go through phases of playing and then abandoning my sims.

On consoles, I completed GTAV, is there really anything else as good as that?! :p

I didn't realise there was a game thread! I shouldn't be surprised it was @Blaze that started it :p

I'm playing the first God of War game again. I like it, but for the silly comedy boobs shoehorned in. It's like I've been transported back to 90s games lol

Blaze: Nope you really shouldn't be surprised :P

lol the jiggle mechanic though. I can just picture the guy or gal that has to animate them, like ummm, how much jiggle should we give 'em. Nope, not enough, let's put a bit more. There, now they defy gravity!
