I just wanted to let everyone know, if you sell Whedonverse-related merchandise in your stores, watch out. I have been given the order to remove all my Buffy-related merchandise from my store from CafePress and 20th Century Fox. They have put a freeze on my items that hold images related to the shows and said that any pending sales won't go through. This freakin' SUCKS! I haven't used their logo or anything; all my artwork is made with freeware I find on free vector and brush sites. Like I told the CafePress rep I spoke to today on the phone: just because I use the same font they use in their logo does not mean I'm using the logo itself, so how is that considered copyright infringement?? I'm so damn pissed! Even items that just have quotes from the show on them, such as "I've Got a Theory" and "The Hardest Thing In This World Is To Live In It" are being tagged as copyright infringement. I make a lot of money from my "It Must Be Bunnies" shirt... It's my top seller out of the three shops I have. I'm pissed off and considering closing all my shops on there to boycott.
