I was 9 going on 18. 😂😂

I started kid pitch in baseball. Hated it. Did not trust fellow 9 year olds to pitch a ball and NOT hit me in the face. So I quit.

I fell madly in love with all things supernatural, thanks to Buffy, Charmed, and Disney’s So weird! My favorite Nickelodeon show, The Secret World of Alex Mack had just ended the year prior but I watched reruns like a champ. Power Rangers was well into new incarnations, without any of the original cast. But Beetleborgs and Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog kept me interested in kids action shows.

Pokémon was becoming huge! I had Pokémon Red and Blue, on my original gameboy. Though in Christmas of 1999 I did get a game boy Color! Imagine! Color gaming at your fingertips! The world of possibilities.

I killed my tomagachi. Apparently you are supposed to feed that sucker. Who knew!

Oh and I was obsessed with Britney and NSync. Backstreet can suck it! I thought Britney and Justin were relationship goals. Oh, my 9 year old innocence!

I wasn’t quite into Harry Potter. I didn’t become an avid Potterhead until about 2000-2001.

I was thinking about these today, remembering how much time I spent trying to keep the thing alive, and how we took them to school and I think they ended getting banned from school.

Omg! Everyone had them! They would go off in book bags! I had mine attached to my book bag like a keychain. Those were the days!

They're selling them again, I'm thinking of buying one just for the nostalgia alone. I'd probably use it for a keychain again :D

I was 16 a junior in high school in Tampa Florida. A full on Buffy geek already, i watched from day one. I loved SMG already from Swans Crossing and of course had seen the Buffy movie. I was also a die hard WB lineup freak! So yeah, Dawson's, Felicity, Popular, Roswell etc. Did theatre in high school so was heavily into that at the time and applying for colleges. Most memorable moment of this particular year for me was the heart crushing moment I found out Hole dropped out of their tour with Marylin Manson just a couple of weeks shy from coming to my city after I already had tickets because I had waited since I was 13 years old to see Hole live... I went and saw juat Manson anyway, it was a great show and i saw him live 4 more times after that. And I did get to finally see Hole live too... 10 years later in 2009 ❤

I looooved talk soup! And where are you from that you are hookable on telenovelas? I am puerto rican 😊

I'm originally from Scotland. 😅 And when I first began watching the show, I only understood a few words; but I stuck with it, watched Univision's other shows, and picked up the language fairly quickly. Plus, you know how dramatic telenovela actors can be; a raised eyebrow tells an entire story. 😜

I remember Ole scoring the winner against Bayern. I remember everyone panicking about the millennium bug. The attitude era. Watching a pirated copy of the South Park movie a million times. It was a good year.

Funny how you use the first name, whereas in Norway he is "Solskjær". Normally we're the ones using the first name.

I watched "The Matrix" in the cinema twice. First in Edinburgh, with friends. Then I Oslo, with other friends. And subtitles.

And I remember my then-boyfriend kissing my ex-boyfriend, one of his good friends, before me at midnight on New Year's Eve. Looking back, it's pretty sweet. We broke up a few months later and both met our current partners that autumn.
