    It is free if you cancel before thirty days are up. You don't own the comics, but you do get a chance to read them, so it might be best for those who want to decide whether they want to get into the comics. (Not all of them are available, just certain volumes, but still more than I expected.) And six bucks a month isn't really that much if you're actually interested in the other comics, especially the wide variety of indie comics that would be hard to find somewhere else. I signed up a day or so ago, as someone fairly new to comics in general, I'm enjoying it as an opportunity to figure out what I like and what I don't, being able to try things I usually never would without having to worry about the cost. So I guess it's worth it to some people and not to others, depending what you're looking for.
