Also, maybe we should start describing the process of these before they are judged, because, it is being judged as if we are all in the same room with prerecorded music. Wow! That was beautiful! Let's see if the judges agree.
First up with her thoughts, Faith!

*Sits back down in her seat after giving a standing ovation*

"You my dear are a breath of fresh air".

*raises an eyebrow"

"Of course to comment on the music as well as the vocal performance, I have to say that your vocals were flawless and your range is just effortless. Arrangement wise it flowed freely and just came so natural to you. I really can't wait to see what you have in store for us, im throwing my weight behind you girl!"

 

[Nix]

OK that was very good. I enjoyed your performance and hope you can blow me away next time as I think you have the potential to.

 

[Flannen]

What can I say? I loved it, like I did last week. That sincerity isn't something you're conscious of. Like Faith said about your vocals and music, it all just comes so naturally too and as a result of that the fact you're doing something you love really shines through.

I'm still so excited to see what you have to offer us, maybe try experimenting in a different genre and making it your own? Either way, can't wait to see how far you go.

Young Kristen, well done. Your prowess with the guitar is quite impressive, as usual.

I must confess, I've never heard the song you've covered here, but your vocal touch is pretty and soothing to the ear. It didn't suck. Now, let's see how you perform with the Judge's Challenge.

What I thought doesn't count though! Lets see what the judges thought. First up, Faith!

 

[Faith]

*drums her fingers off the table*

"You are a tricky one. There is clear talent here, the fact that you chose to do one of your own compositions is a testiment to that. You have a strong voice but I don't think you are reaching your true potential. It sounds, to me, that you are not using your diaphram properly and when you hit the higher notes you are not reaching them as well as you are capable of."

"I'd like to see you work on that one for the next round"

 

[Nix]

Ok well that was very well put together. Did you do the drums too? If so even more impressed. I have to say it was good and i'm looking forward to what you manage to do next week. Will I still be impressed?

 

[Flannen]

*ponders for a moment*

Well, it was very impressive again, BuffyHead. I like the fact you went with something original, using your own music and such but I'd really like to see you do something acoustic; just you and a guitar without the equipment and the drum track etc. I want to see something raw and natural from you to really show us what you're capable of. Let us see that next week!

Clearly you are one with the written chord, young lady. That was very impressive work this week. Lovely tune....and it seemed to come from a very personal place for ya. Like the others, I applaud your courage in showcasing an original song. Very nicely done.

Your voice, as usual, is excellent. Again, it's an almost entirely different league. But test your voice to it's limits we will. Show us what you got with the Judges Challenge. We dare ya.
