The first book of the BB book club "The Wisdom of War" is nearing its end, therefore I thought I would see if there is interest to read a second book and open up to suggestions of what book to read.

    Suggestions:
Go Ask Malice - by Robert Joseph Levy

    Cursed - by Mel Odom

Blood and Fog - by Nancy Holder

Spike & Dru: Pretty maids all in a row - by Christopher Golden

These are just a few suggestions, please, if you're interested in joining let us know what you wish to read and I'll set up a poll.

My vote is for Go Ask Malice or Pretty Maids - both books I like a LOT, more than this one, which is why I think I stalled out, lol. I'll try and get it finished this weekend, so that I can start this fresh.

I'm interested in Go Ask Malice because I've never read it before :)

I'd also vote for Go Ask Malice. I've heard good things about it!

I am on the last stretch of Wisdom of War. It's not the worst Buffy novel I've read but it's not the most memorable either.

If I can get hold of a copy of Go Ask Malice then I'm up for that, I think I have Pretty Maids around here somewhere.

Oh I have Blood and Fog too!

I've got Pretty Maids floating around somewhere. I'm still sort of mid-move. My bookshelves look like a book monster puked all over them. But I could probably track it down.

Or, I think I could probably get my hands on Go Ask Malice. It doesn't seem too pricey. And I've heard really good things about it.

Well, if it's easier for everyone to get their hands on Pretty Maids, then we could do that first and keep Malice for next time? At least that way, we're set up for two rounds.

All of them seem to be readily available on Amazon, so it wouldn't be too hard for me to get my hands on any of them. Malice seems like it would be a killer read.

I would rather read Go Ask Malice, but for me (via amazon) it's actually been difficult trying to find an affordable copy that ships to Sweden.

Ok, I just ordered Go Ask Malice because I found an affordable copy. So my vote is for that one.

I'll put up a poll so the rest of you can vote for you pick. :)

I just got a "very good" version on Amazon for like 7.99 and prime shipping! Gold!

I'm excited to read with y'all! I love book clubs! Wish I would have known about this before my move this summer... I donated nearly ALL my buffy books to my local library this summer. I think I still have Spike and Dru somewhere though! Been meaning to read that one. I think Malice, Pretty Maids, and Into The Wild are the ONLY novels I haven't already read!!

I know, I gave away all of my Buffy books years ago. Just figured I'd never read them again. Almost makes you think that hoarders have the right idea ;)

I bought a bunch of books this week based on Lyri's recommendations, thank you! Added to the collection are The Book of Fours, Monster Island, Spike & Dru, and Go Ask Malice. :)

Taake: I really liked Monster Island

Last book club read two chapters a week, are you guys okay with continuing this theme?

Also cool with 2 chapters a week. Any issues with reading ahead (other than obviously no posting spoilers)?
