The other thing that no one is talking about is how it also affects housing prices and neighborhood's community and value. As these small businesses are closing - many of them in the retail sector - it not only affects the lives of those working for them, but the people living in the neighborhood.

Home buyers look at the characteristics of a neighborhood as much as they do the property itself. So if the local coffee shop, dry cleaners, restaurants and movie theaters are closed, the neighborhood loses its appeal. Less value on the neighborhood, less people moving in, less influx of money to support the community.

It all has a trickle down effect.

And I'm sure there's plenty of others in government who are well off and could help.
Why limit it to the government? Why about these movie stars and athletes? Let's take their money too. Some business owners are rich too, we can take theirs, as well. Where is the economic line set at, that if you make above this about you have to give the money to those less fortunate? That suddenly sounds like it is about something other than the Coronavirus to me.
