Frivolous question but, did Anya make up her own name?

Her full name is supposedly Anya Christina Emanuella Jenkins

Her real human name was: Aud
Her demon name, which I guess could also be sort of a title is: Anyanka

So where does Christina Emanuella Jenkins come from?
Did she just make that up when she enrolled at Sunnydale High?

She has a different name in the Sunnydale High yearbook as well - 'Anya Emerson'. I'm thinking she probably does just make it up as she goes along?

Makes sense, since she never planned to stay long

Actually, as a student at Sunnydale High, she went by Anya Emerson, as she was called when first introduced to Cordelia in The Wish. I would assume she changed her name, yet again, when she lost her powers or when she got a job at the Magic Box and carved out a life for herself.

Yeah, Season 3 Anya had a car, a place to stay, some steady source of income, and some other things that never really get explained. Heck, where did she get the prom dress from? My guess is, fallen Vengeance Demons are trapped within their glamour, that Anya Emerson's "wish" to be a American high school senior was granted, similar to what happened to Connor, except the NDC was rejected during severance negotiations.

IIRC she modelled her human persona on a 1950's housewife, with her clothes and hair, and "Jenkins" sounded like a typical white-bread American name.

I would add "Idiosyncratic."
