How do you feel about the way Mercedes McNab portrayed Harmony?

I'm going to go with just alright. But I don't really care for the character, so I may be judging harshly.

While the character isn't a favorite, I think McNab did a great job. However, the only other role I've seen her in (not counting her as a child) was also a vampire, so I have very little to compare to.

Hmm. Yeah I don't think I've seen her in anything else. Oh wait, Supernatural and Addams Family.

Mercedes nailed it; even if I have complaints about the character at times it's certainly never because of the acting.

Mercedes was a very good light comedienne, like most of the female actors on the show. She gave Harmony, a petty one dimensional character, tons of personality. Harmony became one of my favourite characters on AtS. (The only actor I thought didn't possess the comic gene was Elisabeth Rohm, though perhaps she wasn't given the chance?)

As opposed to what? It's not like comparing Sir Ian McKellen's portrayal of Richard III to Cumberbatch's or Olivier's. It's a singular event. To all effect and purpose she WAS the character. I've no complaints about the way it was performed.

I thought Mercedes was pretty brilliant. The way she delivered some of her lines, especially in Disharmony, really showed her talent.

I agree with this she proved to be hilarious and I absolutely loved her.
As for Elisabeth Rohm I disagree with you. She had really funny moments in Sense & Sensitivity
