Another rough, but good, day, hanging with my niece at my sister's new house. I overslept a bit, though, so I didn't get to be there for long. But I did get to read more Dracula on the train - now I'm on page 47! I've finished the Harker journal pages and am entering the letters between Mina, Lucy and a few others. Definitely enjoying it so far :)

Got lots done today in short sweaty burst in between meditation. I haven't been sleeping at night so I figured it was the only way I could get through the day productively, and I am pretty happy with what I did, although always wanting to achieve more. I went to the shop early, in the hope to be in and out, but the shop keeper and pub owner yelled me over to join their cigarette party out the front. They are nice people, we just don't have a whole lot in common and I find woman much harder to talk to then men. Then the guy across the street joined us and we discussed the construction which is much bigger than any of us anticipated. I asked if he thought the piles of tin out the front were for the tip, cos if they were I was going to take them. He said he was worried they would blow onto his property again like last storm. The ladies finished their cigarettes and the shop keeper told the pub owner to leave the butt on the street cos the local methhead comes along to smoke what is left daily. Pub owner said no, stuff him and cleaned up after herself like a good smoker.

I came home, layed down then cleaned the kitchen, it is just amazing how much dust accumulates here, even when it has been quite damp outside. I chased the ducks out into the front yard (no easy feat over the patio!), then came back in ran the dishwasher, had a nap then washed my hair. I went out and spent some time in the garden, the ducks are so happy, it is just adorable. Crowly escaped and I have decided I will leave her out and let the foxes get her tonight, bloody bird. The other chickens were good chooks and stayed where they belong.

I picked a box full of limes in praise and started my trek to the pub. A kid had lost a wheel of his bike trailer on the side of the hwy and the other kids nicked off and left him. We flagged down some help and then I continued on to the pub to drop off my limes. She swapped me a can of drink and chocolate bar and I sat out with the old men in the beer garden to discuss this pile of tin. They thought it was fine for me to take, so after I wrote a page of thoughts in the company of the fluffy pub chickens in the outter yard, I went over to the construction site and nicked their tin. Of course I had to do it just as a bunch of town cars came past... they all slowed down as if I was a crim, but the men said, and I figure, if it isn't rubbish the building boys can get it back. And if it is - well win for me! Im saving it from being blown around town in tonights storm! I used a long bit for a fence, hammered in some pickets to secure it and dragged some other bits over to make my new duck pen, near the chook pen. I probably overdid it with the lifting a bit, but I didn't want to be digging around out there for ages and give someone in town a chance to call the police man!

I don't want to go over to the pub for the third time today, but I want a chicken and salad burger for dinner and I don't want to risk the truck stop with all of their kids germs right now... Pub is generally safer and the mum didn't have the snots - she does the salads. The general store shut early cos the owners are in hospital so cooking is out. The bunnies are not well little darlings, they are not eating enough of their hay and getting tummy aches from too much solid grain, seeds and pellets. I will HAVE to go to the city next week and find them new hay. I hope Xander can survive till then, the poor lil man has a giant poo stuck to his bumhole and just lost his deformed tooth, so he is a bit uncomfortable but still seems alright.

Today was Sankt Hans, an old tradition. So old that all I really know about it, is that it involves burning a witch on a stake (because apparently, we celebrate that here, lol). Anyway, we don't really go in for it for that, mostly it's just because it's a tradition and growing up we always celebrated as a family.

Very close to my sister's house there's a community building; every year they host a small get-together with a pyre and sticks for the kids to make marshmallows and such. This was our 3rd year in a row and there were a lot of us, but it was so much fun, with great food and good conversation.

It was also the first time that my step-niece called me auntie, which was so heart-warming. Clearly, she's heard my niece (her own age) call me that, and so it stuck; I definitely have no problem with that, she's the most adorable little devil :D

I'm exhausted now (the small glass of wine didn't help with that) but in a good mood and I'm sure I'll sleep well tonight!

I am so tired. I haven't really slept for weeks. I just kinda lay down and pray all night, sorta doze and lucid dream in spots. At least I can lay still which is a massive step up from the med withdrawal months. Nothing I can do, just keep going. I wish I had something more to distract me, and truly tire me out to sleep, like a pony :p I cant seem to get the fire roaring tonight, I flew through my kindling and paper.

I had a slow day today, in line with my mind. I went to the cafe and spent 2 and half hours writing. I didnt realise I had been there that long. They cafe manager is a bit suss of me haha, she treats me like a small retarded child. I have offered to work there for free while the owner is recovering in hospital. It's not as if its busy, and I know she is struggling, but she thinks I am completely stupid and doesn't trust my ability. She's the one who cant add up! lol. They closed super early at 2.30 today, 3pm yesterday, and the day before, the people in town are starting to complain as she also wont run lotto without two people there (everyone lives for lotto here, their only hope to escape haha). She had a cough and I think I might have caught it. It would explain the extra sickness I feel. I had a chat with my neighbour and her mother with dementia. They think they dont see enough of me, I dont know how much people expect to see me, and why they expect to see me haha. They would see me often if they went to the pub - I get a feed from there frequently lately. They give me freebies in swap for limes.

I didn't go for a big walk today, only short around town, the river is flooded now and it wasn't really safe enough to go out under the big gums after such a hit of weather. I was walking across the road from two small girls when I overheard their conversation "Do you like grey people too? Cos if you dont, you might be racist!" "Yeah racists are THE WORST" I had a giggle. I am stir crazy and need to get out of town, hopefully tomorrow, but I am not going to risk driving if I dont feel up for it. And if I wait another week my new fuel card will arrive and make it a cheaper trip. I should see what I can get online tonight. I know I will get low if I dont keep busy.

I've been having too much fast food lately, so today I'm back into my exercise regime! Being paralyzed, it can be difficult to burn calories but together with lifting weights and using my arm bike I am getting there!

Listening to David Icke whilst playing 'Football Manager', watching Buffy and Angel (of course) and routinely checking this great forum!

Going to make a kale, celery and frozen berry smoothie soon.... drinking coffee in the meantime.

Day started off bad. I was being a brat to the shop assistant, I was not being and overall nice person at all. Day got better after I did that though cos I had lunch and then got to work big time in the garden. I think I was bored out of my mind. Its easy to do that in the monotony of a tiny town.

There is always so much to do, I started in too many places at once and now cant seem to finish on one haha. its all got to come together in a different way, my mind doesnt work at one at a times haha. I got the ducks moved out to near the chook pen. My neighbour said he had some tin for me, but I only really need it for the fence now so I am not sure if thats what he saved it for me for. Later I was a brat again at the shop buying noodles. I dont want to do a big shop cos I know I have mice in the house right now and I dont want to lose things, they seem to have been sealed in with the quarteround done! Anya is mad that there are mice in the house. She chases Xander when she is unhappy. But other times they are snuggly as snuggle bums. Like now, curled with their heads together in front of the fire (that is not lit). Anya showed me her anger by eating the laptop cord. It zapped me when I touched it.

So now I have the lappy on battery but its fading out fast. I think this is a sign to update my smartphone. I also had a neighbour drop by and ask me how to use his iphone. So I figure in order to be useful I should at least keep moderately up to date with the damned things. I am nervous about tomorrow but if it goes well I should be propelled into motion to do a city run. I am having a much better night since the kiwi dude stopped by.Xander is licking my shoulder so I better go pat him before he jumps on the keyboard. Dont let me be too much of a shit head on here mods, I know life is good.

Finally caved and opened the window; last night was the best nights sleep I've had in a while and when I woke up? My sheet was actually still on my covers! :p

I also finally bought that shopping bag on wheels I've been wanting, my back just can't handle shopping a lot at a time. Feels great to have that now.

When I got to the mail-box, it was stuffed. Packages from Wish, something my sister had me order for her, and this:

Been up since midnight. That tuna melt and ice cream wasn't a very good idea. 😛 I've got a massive headache...and I hope they'll fill my medication a day early. Tried to be considerate and didn't switch on the TV until two hours ago.
Pharmacy opens at 9am. Keeping my fingers crossed!

So it'll be a good idea to plan your own short film, to get investors dependant on where you live.

Today was my mom's birthday (her last year in her 50s has begun :p) and since I was heading over to her place to do some laundry anyway, I decided to take a walk down to the second-closest bakery (the closest is gross AF!) and get some pastries for her, my step-dad and myself, which we enjoyed with our (their) coffees. I got my laundry done (can't wait to sleep in freshly washed sheets tonight, yum!) and stuck around for a while, watching TV with my mom. (I even read some more Dracula). It was a nice day.

Her birthday gift is not until next week, since she's an uber busy lady and my gift is a trip to the movie theater with me to watch Rocket Man (she's a huge Elton fan), which is why I thought the pastries was a nice thing so she'd get something on the day, so to speak.

Anyway, I also changed to a larger size in my journey to stretch my ears. I'm now at 3mm (no clue what that tells anyone, may just confuse you but there it is). See for yourselves :)

It's been almost a week since my brother passed away...and I am amazed at how deceitful and greedy some of his "friends" are. One showed up at my door yesterday, claiming that my brother's last wish was for him to have his computer! And his van, amongst other things....really, he must think I'm stupid. Also, I have a few others constantly asking about the funeral...and my youngest brother actually picked up the cat from the Animal Rescue place....! He was planning on selling it. Mum found out, and she went BALLISTIC, demanding that he return the cat at THAT moment. Which he did. He also took my brother's phone...allegedly to tell people about what happened. But he actually took it to get new business contacts. Jesus. When my stepfather called him, he got another severe telling off. Creepy little bastard.

It's getting a little easier to deal with this...because I was internally a mess for a few days. I broke out in hives yesterday...I thought they were flea bites at first, and totally panicked. (I now only use hypoallergenic soap and NO body wash) I'm glad he's being cremated, because I can't bear the thought of him in the ground. The rest of us are supposed to go to church Sunday, because mum wants us to. I don't like churches. We'll see what happens...also doing my best to avoid neighbours who want to "comfort" me. What's wrong with them? They know I despise most of them. And how did they find out? Eh, whatever.

Well it's early (6:45) but it's already getting warm, a bit more cloud cover at the moment. I expect that will go soon. Time to have a cuppa tea.

I saw a picture of myself from yesterday this morning, and I have to eat better. I love savoury foods and have a sweet tooth, so it's not going to be easy. I'm going to have to take it slowly, let myself adjust to one thing before cutting out the next.

I think it's going to be harder to say no to friends though, I have one which pretty much every time I see there's food involved, usually pizza. We had pizza yesterday!

City run today. Handled it better than expected. I started sleeping again a night and a half ago so that was a nice change. I think the lit fireplace and rain on the tin roof helps :D

Got a replacement cord for the laptop, its nice not to be zapped though the keyboard. I should probably take better care of this cord. I really need to re-arrange things in this room so that bunnies cant get into mischief, like eating power cords. It was sorta nice without the laptop but I started to miss TV.. especially Agents of Shield and The 100. I'll have to catch up on both tonight. I am glad to have the lappy back, I dont like going on the net on my phone, it makes me so sore.

I got some garden supplies and animal feed while out and when I got home I planted out some more seeds and seedlings. I hope that all this effort pays off eventually... I do think I should start an online blog somewhere that will remember my password for me cos my horoscope said to back up everything and I cant find my little backup drive so perhaps I shall do as the masses do as store all my memories online (somewhere other than BB to limit annoyance). I have tried like 7 times before, can't hurt to try again lol. Any easy blog sites to recommend? Not tumblr, that place is too porny for my liking.

I have a quarter pounder to heat up for dinner, and I got special greens for the buns. They were annoying me earlier being ultra clingy and loving cos I was out so long so I fed them some pellets which induces food coma. They are currently snuggling their faces together, waiting for me to start the fire. Anya hates a messy house so she is ecstatic right now cos its clean. She has been doing bunny acrobatics, flying about like a nut while Xander jumped on my chest to kiss my face til I had to push him off to breathe. Uhoh, speak of the demons, they just woke up... Anya is licking the pellet plate and Xander is thumping his fat arse around (He has a damaged back so is far from graceful). Now Anya is THROWING the pellet plate.. I think that means I should feed them their greens and dribble shit later.

Anyways nice to be typing again, I forgot how fun it is pushing real buttons!

I've recovered from a bad sinus infection I had, now reborn and rejuvenated, kinda like Hive, ready to continue my path of destruction.

My recent absence is also because I had two weeks holiday from work, which I spent with my old friend, sinusitis.

Went to church yesterday with family...and my other brother's skanky girlfriend. The service went on for hours! I'd gotten up once to show respect for the minister, but after that, I stayed in my seat...the music was quite beautiful...I just stared at my fingernails until we could LEAVE.

Everyone gathered at a restaurant afterwards. Very, very uncomfortable. I already knew when mum is angry, stay completely silent. But my sister made the mistake of bragging how she contacted my brother's "friends" on Facebook. *penny in the air* Mum looked over at her, saying, "You did what?" *penny drops* My stepfather and I remained silent...we're not stupid. But my sister is. She kept talking, not realising that some of us knew she'd posted on Facebook to get sympathy. I stepped outside to smoke...five minutes later, she comes storming out, saying that mum was insane and she was going home.

Last thing, as my parents were describing my brother's living will, and how they'd be executors of it, other brother jumped in, asking, "But what happens if you guys die? What do we do then?" I stepped out again. Couldn't deal with this crap. I was so glad when I got home!

Lengthy services really are a drag, let alone family funerals.

It took me one death metal song to drive from the bay to the otherside of the city. Safe to say, it's a tiny city.

I love my car, such a workhorse. I am so pleased with how well I managed the drive today, didn't start to get dozey til the last 10 k's, not even a coffee milk to keep me going! Not even ready for bed yet, but the buns are.
