Just about over being sick, nagging cough remains other than that I'm good ready to celebrate the wearing of the green today.

First 60-degree day this year. I walked down to a nearby church having a rummage sale, but didn't buy much. The crocuses and daffodils are out - the first signs of spring!

Hope you two @Plasma and @Angelkiss are feeling better now!

I will be cleaning up toy stuffing for weeks to come. My mum bought a huge bag of stuffed toys down for the dogs to destroy, and destroy they have! The puppies have been supremely spoilt this week.

It rained so I didnt have to water the garden today, and the dogs were walked so I went to do some volly work this morning. I forgot to have breakfast so felt like a right pig when I got stuck into a pie at morning tea. It was a great pie tho - beef, beer and bacon, and I shall have it again.

I crash hard after the social stuff but the pups were happy to nap with me all arvo and now they have tired themselves out with crazy runs on the driveway. Soon they can have dinner and go in the hallway while the bunnies have free run of the rest of the house.

What a day! All usual at work, weather changed, absolutely poured down and I get water coming in, only lasted a few minutes but it was a quick move the toys before they got ruined, and mop up.
Then I get home and one of the certificates I ordered for my mother arrived so I called her on the landline as she never answers her mobile, and she's all, I didn't think anyone had this number so wasn't going to answer!

Better than Tuesday, but still not tip top. Luckily it’s just down to a sore throat for me, so going to the Urgent Care ASAP was the right call. Got some antibiotics that I have been steadily taking since Wednesday and I feel much better than I did.

I am making a pizza to eat today and I’m excited! 😍

Something made me paranoid, and I became a lot more aware of how many watch me when I walk. Makes me glad, once again, not to be a telepath (at least not where thoughts aimed at me kept seeping in). And I'm fairly sure that it wasn't because I was looking at them, at least in most cases.


Had a scary clown nightmare, though oddly it wasn't scary at first. I was talking to this one person who'd kept turning into a clown covered in blood. My first reaction was concern that the clown was hurt and I should call someone. But each time the clown appeared, longer than the last time, it had a look that was definitely predatory, and contributed to why I didn't get enough sleep. (This wasn't what put me into a paranoid mood, though it didn't help.) I'm also not one of those people who have clown fear or nightmares, so this was unusual in the extreme.

And a strange thing, don't know why my brain is doing this...I had this terrible habit of trying to get to my emails for personal and business and clicking on the tab that brings me here instead. Sometimes I'd get out only to click it again. I finally removed the tab, and it helped a lot. But now when I try to come here, where I need to type it in, I instead click one of my email tabs! Even repeatedly. No idea why. It's not like they were even side by side or looked about the same.

Today was great! I went to the London Vintage Radio Club meeting and managed to sell a combustible gas sniffer and buy reels of capacitors and a bag of switches. Some of my projects can move forward. I decided not to buy any of the radios, even though a nice Philco cathedral set was going for $20. My inductance meter didn't sell (again) so maybe I will be keeping it into my old age.

Tomorrow is my stepdad's birthday, so I went to get him a birthday gift earlier. My sister thinks we should take him out to lunch as well....yeah, that ain't happening. I REALLY don't like being with my sister and stepdad. It gives me hives and an urge to violently maim someone. 😅

For the moment, my truck seems is running smoothly now. Thank God!! Also, after installing a new router, my WiFi is working perfectly. 🥳

Another beautiful spring day here. I went to the zoo with a friend. The toddler gorillas were running around chasing each other. The dad waded in the middle to grab them and make them stop, but they were undaunted. Then they mimicked his chest-thumping posing - so cute! The other, separate gorilla troop has no babies, but two of them were working on that issue, right in front of the glass! Ah, nature.

I've been freezing my tookus off. It hasn't been above 30F all day, and we even had snow last night. I knew we would probably be in for at least one more cold snap before spring weather settles in for good so I guess this is it. Come-on back 60 degree temps!!

Oh! I forgot to mention that my jeans are looser now, and my face is thinner. A few days ago, it FINALLY dawned on me that gobbling 40mg THC/CBG gummies everyday made me a serious couch potato. Not only that, but I had the munchies all the time. I became even more lazy than I usually am....which is saying a lot! 😋

Am I going to stop eating the gummies? No, because they make me REALLY happy. Will I decrease the dose? Nope! But I'll cut down on the bacon, hamburger, sweet rolls, key lime pie, KFC, etc. (You know, the things that make life worth living!)

I do realize that this whole thing with my mother is SERIOUSLY screwing with my head. Her dementia (and rapidly declining health) is like a horror movie. Gummies and yummy food makes me feel better. But being thin makes me feel A LOT better!! My appearance is soooo important to me. I'm a vain, and self-absorbed girl. It's not enough that I look cute, I have to look cuter than everyone else. �

Yes, yes, I know that I'm beyond gorgeous, an eye-pleasing gift to the world, and extremely modest; but there's always room for improvement. 😅

I knew it was gona be hot today so wanted all the chores out of the way early. Dogs walked, gardens watered, and enough mash potato cooked for 2 days! Chicken is marinating for when I want to chuck it in the air fryer and I have salad and beans ready too now the air con is on a d I am looking for something to watch.

I clipped the dogs, but they move a lot haha. They are a bit scruffy but at least I got some done.

Well, it’s happened. I was buying birthday presents for my soon 8 year old niece, and was told she doesn’t want ”kids stuff” anymore, but things for ”big girls” 😭 Too soon! I’m not over buying the sparkly unicorn stuff yet.

But, as desired, she is getting a dairy with a lock on (so her sisters who cannot yet read can’t read it). But I rebeled slightly, she is getting Paddington bear pencils, because they’re flippin’ cute.

Well, it’s happened. I was buying birthday presents for my soon 8 year old niece, and was told she doesn’t want ”kids stuff” anymore, but things for ”big girls” 😭 Too soon! I’m not over buying the sparkly unicorn stuff yet.

But, as desired, she is getting a dairy with a lock on (so her sisters who cannot yet read can’t read it). But I rebeled slightly, she is getting Paddington bear pencils, because they’re flippin’ cute.

Aw 😭 I know how it feels when a family member grows up too soon!

Man, walking home from the train today, I saw a guy with a german shepherd. We meet them a lot and the dog always barks/lunges/attacks my dog, but the guy is working really hard to train it so I don’t mind too much.

Today I thought I’d give them some space and walked into a more open area, creating distance between us. Then I hear the guy yelling, turn around, and of course - I’ve got an irate GSD heading at my dog at full speed.

For once I was actually cool headed in a situation! I held my dog in a short leash, behind my back, and kept turning around as the GSD tried to circle me to get to him. We spun around and around for a little while until the poor owner came rushing in trying to catch his dog. He finally did, apologized, and I walked away acting as though it had been a game to make sure my dog was still in a good head space.

For once his size worked in my favor, because he jumped onto his hindlegs, but because he was behind me I could then completely block him from the other dog.

A bit of drama on a Monday afternoon to keep life interesting, I guess.

I returned my stepdad's birthday gift to Amazon. Why? Because suddenly he was "too busy" to pop in even BRIEFLY for the party my sister arranged, Screw him. True, I didn't really want to go in the first place...but my sister had decorated her place with streamers and balloons. We even bought a cake!!!! 😡 So yeah, he doesn't get my present.

Anyway, I DID get orange soda! So, mission accomplishment. 😁
