Has anyone seen this guy? He's on YouTube and has done video reviews for all of S1. He's currently working on S2.

I don't agree with all of his opinions but he's pretty darn good. Take a look, subscribe, donate or whatever- he's trying to convert more people to the greatness that is Buffy, this should definitly be encouraged. :)

I will take a look, but I tend to dislike such people, as they always seem to be doing such things just to look cool and gain attention, thus the big down side to social media, everyone believes they can be a star, even those without talent.

What I like about this forum is how people have proper in depth conversations, and express their views in a friendly, but passionate way (most of the time).

Generally I agree with you, but the guy at least tries to explain his opinions and give some depth to the reviews. He outlined some of the metaphor used on the show and does so with some humour.
Hopefully it will encourage more people to give Buffy (especially the first season) a chance.

Still, if you want indepth analysis then yeah, the boards are way better.:)

He is good. One of the two Buffy-related things I follow. The other is Zelda's blog.
Oh right I will check that blog out thanks.

By the way The Passion's lastest review of Homecoming was one of his best yet. Interesting than he was in favour of the Xander/Willow affair. Its a great listen anyway.

The guy is probably on his xmas holidays.
Can i recommend in the meantime the dusted podcasts? No visuals, but really nice commentary. Found them less than a week ago and listening to them is a new passion of mine :)
Thanks when I get a chance I will listen and let you know what I think:)

He could be on his holidays true, but I really loved his last review, and with this season being my favourite was hopeing for more soon!

Listened to the first couple of dusted, so far really enjoying it. They have a really good flow, and discuss things in good depth, but without getting too heavy.

Boy they really go to town on the film, and I thought I hated it;) I like how they talk about the history of the show runner and date it back to its inception in the 1980s. Comparing Xander to Chandler in Friends was also interesting and not something I would have thought of. Also, interesting than they thought that Cordy and Buffy started slow, but that Willow, Xander and Giles showed up fully formed, guess I agree with Giles, but do think that Willow and Xander take a bit of time, although AH performance is great from the start:)

Anyway will be listening to more during the week, its a good way to fill TPOTN void:)

He's back! And what perfect way to start the new year!:p Nice review of Band Candy which I pretty much all agree with, and the Chai Tri gag was funny:D

But he said season 3 is "One of his favourite seasons"?......

Yes, because S3 is the best season!:) But I am interested to see which season he rates higher.
I having a feeling that he rates Season 6 a lot more than I do...He stated in one of the video's that its also a favourite of his.

But I agree, Season 3 is the best season. :) Consistantly funny, dramatic and thrilling.
I'm looking forward ot his 'Revelations' review- the first Faith-cetric one since her intro.

I don't like watching videos, I prefer reading, but I'll check him out when I'm free.

I thought that was a very old and known information. But then I'm Xander and Chandler obsessed so of course I'll know that. :D

You really should, he is one of the best I have come across on the internet because he covers each episode in good depth, while still making it fun, but also not trying to attract attention from the show.

Same! Once noticed it cannot be un-noticed. :D
Hey if you want to bravely out yourself as a Friends fan, go right ahead:D
