Tattoo Redo

It was okay, something light to watch in between the supernatural eps. It was a bit crazy though that people that hadn't even been dating that long got to choose the other persons new tattoo.

Clickbait - 7.5/10

An entertaining Netflix miniseries, kind of a Whodunnit mixed with a family drama. Very intriguing and involving. A couple of red herrings didn't go down so well, and some of the acting is a little off, but aside from that, it was a solidly entertaining and satisfying mystery, with good twists and reveals and a surprisingly emotional core to it.

The Handmaids Tale Season 4 - It took me a long time to get through this. Some of it came too close to torture porn, with a real lack of subtly and a turning against woman. Not sure I'll watch next season 4/10

Life Of Crime (2013).

Starring Hayley Atwell.

Not too bad if you are a die-hard Atwell fan (like me!) but nothing special. The directing is uninspired and storywise it's a standard by-the-numbers UK crime potboiler.

4/10.

When Nirvana Came to Britain - 8/10
New BBC documentary tracking the band's modest beginnings and massive success, cultural importance, and how they were much bigger in the UK at least at first. There's some fun tour stories, solid talking heads and good use of achieve footage. The end bit which deals with Cobain's death and the difference in perception about mental health then compared with today is very moving.

Invincible - 8/10
Finally finished this show, and while it is very brutal and violent, it's also really good storytelling, with lots of twists and turns. It's like an animated version of "The Boys", this gritty take on, what if the most powerful man in the world was evil. Great voice cast, J.K. Simmons is great as Omni Man, and Sandra Oh as his wife. It's very very dark and violent, so it can be a bit uncomfortable to watch, but still really good, hope it gets a second season.

The last Television program I watched was Qi, I can't put that episode up here as it was distinctly not of a "family friendly" nature though I did have several ruddy good laughs.

Star Trek: TNG S7 - "All Good Things..." 10/10

No question, absolutely the BEST series finale I've ever seen. If you're a fan, you'll know what I mean. It's a two-parter, and always has me on the edge of my seat...even though I've seen it many, many times. Picard and Q are ALWAYS great together, and this finale was no exception. 🖖

9-1-1 S5 Premiere Episode - 8/10
Classic 9-1-1 and I'm so glad to have it back on my screen. They are continuing with Maddie's storyline, which I appreciate, and they're also continuing another storyline that I assumed was over; I'm cautious about whether or not I'll like the outcome of that choice so far, though.

Charmed S1-3 7.5/10
Been putting off this homework for years ;) , but Prime has the SD cut of Charmed now , so I'm doing a full watch . It's alright so far , a bit sweet for my tastes . Started season 4 but I'm taking a break for a few days to mourn Prue :p .

Yeah Prue was probably my favourite of the sisters, so it was a shame when she left. The later seasons weren't as good IMO. Its a solid guilty pleasure watch at least.

I cant believe I waited so long to watch this. It is so well put together with great writing, cast and characters and a completely absorbing world that almost makes you feel you are there

Well done for getting so far :) I didn't even manage to get through the first season. It was the bleakest show I have ever seen

I missed this. I will have to check it out. I saw Nirvana live just after Nevermind was released and it was one of the best gigs I have seen. Even before they came on stage the atmosphere was electric
If you like Nirvana, Montage of Heck is a really good documentary as well

Jealous of you seeing Nirvana live! I'm probably just the wrong generation. I will check out the documentary.
