Veronica Mars Season 3 (2006-2007) 9/10
Pretty much a perfect season of television. I think its the most focused of the three. There's some great character growth. Logan has his best season of too. The Dean O'Dell case is my favourite arc of the whole show. It deals with issues with a balance, like modern feminism for example. Plus it gets back to the noir feel of the first season.

Season 7 Rizzoli & Isles - 8/10
Final season. It was good but it reaked of "we know we're not coming back last wrap it up! Everyone needs a major life change/closure/new relationship", so it felt very rushed and a bit forced. I did appreciate them wrapping things up best they could and the final episode really felt like it was emotional for the cast. I also loved that they had a subtle homage for Lee Thompson Young's character Det. Frost. He was one of my favorite characters and I was really upset when he was written off the show (not realizing till this year that the actor had committed suicide :( ), so it was lovely to have them remember him in a very sweet way.

I'll miss this show, I love it, it's characters, and its format. Shame to see it go. Wish the final season would've been a couple of episodes longer.

That's so sad it's over. I still remember when it was first announced. Doesn't seem like 7 seasons ago.

Spaced season 1: 7/10
It’s very enjoyable but at the same time pretty obscure. I’m a big fan of Simon Pegg and Nick Frost and it didn’t disappoint. I have a feeling I’m going to prefer season 2 though.

Very enjoyable first series and I remember it just getting better from there.

American Horror Story: Asylum - 8/10
I don't remember what I gave Murder House but whatever it was should be lower than this, because Asylum is better; not by much, mind you, but enough that I took note of it, about halfway through the season. Suddenly the season kicked into high gear and became something close to stunning. Evan Peters continued to astound me - that accent was just incredible and seemed to come almost easily to him - and, this time unsurprisingly, Zachary Quinto followed. I should have known he was bad, after all, Sylar is still the best he ever did, imo.

This definitely makes me want to watch more seasons as soon as possible.

I loved it! A lot more dramatic than season 1, and I picked up way more pop culture references I especially loved the constant dragging of The Phantom Menace.

Yellowstone 8/10

A combination of "Dallas" and "Bonanza," with a taste of "Empire" thrown in. Kevin Costner is the owner of one of the last "big" ranches, fighting the double threat of recovering from cancer and keeping his holdings intact despite the attempted encroachment of industrialists, real estate developers, and an aggressive Native American tribe intent on building a casino. It's an ensemble cast, including Costner, his three children, and assorted ranch hands.

It ain't "Gunsmoke" or "Have Gun, Will Travel," but it's an honest by gosh Western, with cowboys, horses, bad guys, and even Indians, and it'll do until something better comes along.

American Horror Story: Coven - 7/10
Not as good as Asylum but better than Murder House. The only storyline I didn't care for was Kyle, it was a total waste of Evan Peters, you ask me. It was, however, the first AHS season to suck me in during the pilot, it took 3-4 episodes in the first two seasons. I was thrilled to see Kathy Bates and Angela Basset, actresses from my childhood that I've grown up with. (also awesome to see their names in the credits for S4: Freakshow :))

Some great characters, once again. It was fun to have Bates and Basset back in another big role and I thought that, as per usual, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, and Jessica Lange did a great job with their new characters. All in all, a fun one, above Murder House but below Asylum and Coven.

Unbelievable 15/10 Amazing powerful & nuanced performance from Kaitlyn Dever. Merrit Weaver & Toni Collette are both excellent as well.
One of the hardest to watch yet impossible to look away binge watches. Definitely one of the best shows of the year! Thumbs & toes WAY up!
Mark my words: Golden Globe & Emmy noms for Dever!

American Horror Story: Hotel - 5/10
Definitely the worst season of the show (so far) and frankly just beyond boring. I'm usually a sucker for flashbacks, part of why I love this show so much, but this time around they didn't feel earned, they didn't feel natural. They came way too early, backstory before we'd really gotten to know the present-day version of a character. However, the season did hold some of my favorite characters of all seasons, so that's always something. I gave it 5 points for a reason, though.
  • Lady Gaga truly earned her Golden Globe, she was wonderful in the role
  • Liz Taylor may very well beat Lana Winters for favorite AHS character now!
  • Evan Peters gave his best performance, too date, as James Patrick March
  • The design/interior of the Hotel Cortez was gorgeously detailed and there was always something new to find with each episode
  • Brief tie-ins with past seasons; Murder House revisited through the Countess and Coven through Queenie

I hate that season, the constant sex scenes were just annoying. I really like some of the soundtrack they used though.

American Horror Story: Roanoke - 7/10
I can't figure out if I like it better than Murder House or not - S1 is the only one I haven't watched recently, been like 2 years by now - but it's definitely better than Hotel. I love the total change-up of the genre (still horror, of course) even though I've never been a fan of the whole Paranormal Activity phase. Then it changed again halfway through, which kept it from getting stale like what happened to Hotel. Definitely a strong outing, but still doesn't beat Asylum, Coven or Freak Show :)

The IT Show series 2 - 8/10
A comedy which got better and better as the cast gelled more and it just got more wacky, fun and relatable. Matt Berry is a blast too!

Unbelievable (miniseries) - 9/10
Just about perfect. The casting is spot on with Kaitlyn Dever such a natural beyond her years. The Karen and Grace partnership is brilliant sketched too, with the actors having natural chemistry. Its a meaty drama which poses important questions about the system and the way society treats victims. But it delivers as a piece of drama too, paying off everything it sets up. One to re-visit for sure.

Peaky Blinders Series 2 (2014) 9/10
My one complaint might be how forced Tommy's romances are. But again its packed full of meaty themes, good characters and style with a brilliant soundtrack. The finale was edge of your seat stuff. Best of all might have been Tom Hardy's overacting :D

American Horror Story: Cult - 9/10
Best. Season. Yet.

It drew me in immediately, with a tense setting, great performances, and very well-written characters. Forget what I said about James Patrick March being Evan Peters' best performance on the show, it's officially Kai Anderson. I didn't even remotely miss actors like Lange or Bates or Bassett, though I thought I would when it first began. The modern setting and the very subject matter itself was the real star of the show and I loved that they didn't canonize one party; they canonized both, made them both out to be insane and/or capable of anything if put to the test. Though maybe I'm just saying that cause a non-Trump supporter 'won' :p

@Spanky I don't know what your reasons are to favor it, but all I can say is; you were right.

Pretty much the first sentence is why. It was a really well-written story with a good twist also. I liked how it didn't "feel" like an AHS season, also. It was a lot more grounded.

Disenchantment season 2: 9/10
I already loved season 1 but this season is just as amazing. All the characters are so well defined, it's funny and overly-dramatic. I love Groening's other shows, despite the fact I don't really like cartoons, I've always loved The Simpsons and Futurama. The art style is the same but I enjoy the whole vibe to this series as it is more linear than The Simpsons (it has an overall arc), the cast, the characters, I want to watch it again already!

Gilligan's Island - 10/10

OMG I love the oldies channel!! And watching the Professor invent things with stuff he really shouldn't have is hilarious. 😅 Ginger always looking for a way to showcase her acting, the Howells bragging about their wealth/connections, and Mary Ann just being a naive farm girl is really amusing. Plus, no matter HOW many rafts they try to build to escape the island ALWAYS SINK OR SOMETHING. Its a really funny show!
