Supernatural season 15

So I watched it all this weekend, and probably should have spread it out a bit, I guess it was good in that we did get a lot of the old characters seen again, some things I found just rather odd, and were more for show than story, like Sister Jo and Ruby working together, just so they could have their wives on the show. I liked seeing Garth settled as I think having that did help in the finale. Chuck working with both Lilith and Lucifer, was a bit random too, but again good to have those back, glad they finally had Adam out of the cage though! I feel there's still a few loose ends, like is Cas in the Empty now, did the Empty go back to sleep, what about the deal with Ruby to get her out?
Overall I enjoyed the season, but I think had it been a full 22 episode one instead of a 20 episode season it could have been better.

8/10

Wow @nightshade you are actually caught up on a recent show and I am proud of this achievement of yours and I just came on here to post that. And some weird meme or something...

Now you gotta find something else to watch and you'll be like

and in a few days you'll post a Supernatural Rewatch thread.

I vote that @nightshade should watch that show about that kid in high school that plays lacrosse and dates the new girl that just transferred there. Seeing as she have never seen it!

@HowiMetdaSlayer I know! 😵 that was my face too when I realized she has never seen that wolf teen show.

Sounds like Twilight, and I keep meaning to give the films a try so maybe?

I finished all of Avatar the Last Airbender, and what a great show! I loved it, and it might be a top 10 of my favorite shows of all time. I love the characters and I love the world of element bending. My favorite character arc was Prince Zuko, and I loved uncle Iroh!
9/10 so good, it looks like a "kids" show but season 2 it starts to get better with the characters.

I just started The Legend of Korra. I'm not immediately taken with the show like I was AtLA, but I do love the bending fighting stuff. So, I'll give it a try.

The last TV I saw was the ABC News at 5 am this morning, as usual it went on about the covid-19 debacle, then a brief mention of China's next unmanned journey to the moon and back.

Boring!

The Undoing - 7.5/10

Entertaining, and well cast satire. Its more about the dialouge, character interactions and taking the piss out of rich people :p than the mystery, but as it turns out the mystery was quite compelling too. The finale landed nicely for me.

Fargo season 4 - just finished the finale. Last few episodes were pretty darned good. Maybe the weakest season overall, but still pretty solid. Great twist at the end too.

Desparate Housewives Season 2 - 8.5/10

Really enjoyable stuff once again. Builds nicely on the first season, but turns into a more full on farce, but with a couple of darker twists thrown in. The Andrew-Bree feud is some of the best stuff so far. The name of his gay porn mag was a treat too :D I even enjoyed some of Susan's plot this season. I look forward to seeing more of Kyle MacLachlan next season. Psycho MacLachlan is always fun.

Four Weddings and a Funeral - liked this series overall, but it could've been better. Think the 10 episodes could've been trimmed to 8, or maybe even 6, and been better for it. Also some of the relationships were just too obvious/cliché. The writers were clearly fans of Richard Curtis works, and peppered the series with homages to several famous scenes from his various films. They had not one, but 2 homages to the famous card scene in Love Actually. First one was played purely for laughs, but the second was closer to original in intent, if not reason. Was actually very poignant scene. If you think about it, a couple of his movies are well suited to be expanded into a short series.

Agents of Shield Season 5 - 8.5/10

Another excellent season, but overall the second arc of the season didn't quite match the first arc. The ending was beautiful though.

Euphoria: Trouble Don't Last Always - 8/10

Hard hitting, but powerful special Christmas episode ahead of the new season next year. It was a nice change of pace, and just beautiful. One of the best things I've seen on TV all year.

Dawson's Creek Season 2 - 5/10

Better than season 1. The new characters shake it up a bit. The most unrealistic thing about it is that Madchen Amick would have any interest in Dawson's dopey father. Yeah the extra Gail and Mitch drama is the big downside to this season. The Jack coming out storyline is reasonably progressive for late 90's network TV. A young Michelle Williams acts her ass off, which is just as well because Jen gets a really raw deal this season. I don't know why they killed Abby off her redemption arc could have been up there with Faith Lehane's ;)

I really liked this season because it focused on the dynamic of Sam, Dean, Castiel and Jack a lot so I found it easy to engage with. The only downsides are the Nick storyline and it started much stronger than it finished.

Can't believe such a long show is over it must have been hard to wrap up such a show and especially with Covid but I think they stuck the landing overall :)
The whole season and the final few episodes are really hard to get through emotionally but they are rewarding for the characters.
