I thought 4 seasons was a lot for Netflix as more seasons means more they have to pay everyone involved in making the show, which they don't like to do.

Just checked Netflix, this crossover still isn't available.

I'm going to explain this and hope it makes sense because it's kind of strange, but technically CAOS is more like 2 seasons. From my understanding, they made it 4 seasons, but the reason we got it so quickly is because they filmed it like 2 seasons. And I think a lot of that stemmed from the original plans of the CW hoping to get it. Their seasons are usually 16-20 episodes long.

Katy Keene isn't available on Netflix because it's on HBOMax. I think they hoped that it would get some more viewership, and if it had, they would have considered a second season.

I'm not getting HBOMax just to see this.

I'm not actually sure it was better that Netflix was able to do the series.
Yeah, Netflix can do really good series, and I liked the first season, but they dropped the ball with CAOS. Problem is it was the same creator as Riverdale. Kiernan Shipka was great as Sabrina though, the whole cast was good.
As for the Josie and the Pussycats spin-off, I don't think they ever planned on doing that.
They had that one episode where thy brought back Josie and reunited her with the Pussycats, and they go off on tour. It was a good ending for Josie, but it really felt like a backdoor pilot for a spin off show. The voodoo mystery of how her dad died, could have been a cool show. I never watched Katy Keene.

I stopped watching once I started working full time (mid season 5), I don't have the patience for this jingle jangle filled programming anymore

I'm just here to say if anyone is a fan of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina they should definitely watch the latest episode of Riverdale- season 6 episode 19. Sabrina is in the whole episode and it actually tells you what happened after Nick went to the hereafter with Sabrina so it creates a new ending for the show in a way. It's also just a wild episode.

The musical episode was great. I liked Betty's singing although I didn't like the carrie song.

We'll hopefully get one last musical this year and then it's all over 🥲

If they could do their own version of a popular musical, like carrie but an actual musical that would be a really cool episode.
