New thread time. I've gone through the old one and made a list so it's easier for me to work off of and also easier for people to see if their item has been suggested already. You can find the last thread [ here ] for discussion of past suggestions.

Again, this thread is for you guys to make suggestions for the board - doesn't mean we'll use them, but we will consider them.

Please don't request avatars or styles here as we now have a separate thread for those.

Well how about actually calling it "Rules" instead of "FAQ"? FAQ makes it sound like it's just a help section

Do you remember when we used to have the 'Killertrivias' (you remember, the ones I won!!) well I was wondering if we could have some kind of competition like that again, something everyone can get involved with (because try as I might, I'm just not gonna be any good with making banners and such).

I know its not really something you do Buffy, but I wondered if someone else would do it.

Well how about actually calling it "Rules" instead of "FAQ"? FAQ makes it sound like it's just a help section

If you go to it, at the top it says, "Board Rules", and there is a link to "Read our Board Rules" on every page of the site.

I'm still working on a way to do that.

Not to put a damper on things, but if we could kind of keep the thread to new suggestions rather than commenting on what's been said before that would really help to keep things easier to find in here.

Kristine agrees: but, to be fair, when we keep brining up the old ideas it shows which things on the lists are most important for the users

Honestly, that's just going to make it harder for me to weed through things and won't really help anything get done any quicker.

I posted the list so people wouldn't repeat things already said...

No - that would look odd on the main page.

I put the link to the previous thread in the first post (Suggestion Box - Buffy-Boards) - another reason why I would prefer not to bring up past suggestions again is that I don't want to have to repeat everything that's been said in the last thread about them.

Limiting signature size would be a good one to add to the list for when it becomes available. Is it something to do with Usergroups with the new upgrade that means it can't be enabled?

For number 8) I dont really want forum titles excluded from new posts, they make it easier to see where its coming from

In fact, im a little confused, is the 1-25 a list of 'things to be done' or just a list of things mentioned? Like, im not sure viewing Karma values would do much good either.

It's a list of things that were already suggested in the last thread. And I would really prefer not to rehash them all in this one lol.

Signature size IS limited. The limit is still 725 x 150 pixels, as it has always been. I removed the way I had coded signatures to not show more than 150 pixels because people were putting huge banners in their signatures and not caring that they went over, where it was supposed to be a tool for recognizing that you had gone over. The board still technically loaded the entire signature, just didn't display it all. Since people abused it, I took it off.

Avatar and Style Request Thread - Buffy-Boards

Would it be possible to have the text on the different styles the same size? The new styles have normal-sized text, but with the older ones it's a lot smaller. Makes it hard to read if you have bad eyesight or if you're sleepy or something.

I understand if it might be too much trouble, but I just wanted to ask.

When you say text do you mean the text on the actually banners/buttons or elsewhere?

I know what you mean about bad eyesight, and you can actually change your text size in your browser but that will change all your text sizes which may or may not be what you mean.
