Finally found some time to read this book and am at page 189. It takes a time to get going, but I'm really enjoying it far more than I thought I would when I began reading. Each scene is short and snappy and the whole thing reads like an episode of the show. I'm particularity enjoying Angel's run in with a telekinetic family and then getting involved in a prison riot, that part is a real page turner.
They've also paired Riley and Tara up, and they really do compliment each other. So far there's little to no Xander or Giles but Spike has recently appeared and he is written as the comedic turn and is quite amusing.
