It's a shame that it took the book this long to hit its stride. These chapters were very readable and I liked the depictions of the Scoobies (especially the focus on Tara). The only thing I didn't like was the Moruach thing at the end with Spike - that seemed very weird and disjointed.
Lol yes, it's really sped up at the end after so much back and forth in previous chapters. It is a very light story with characters - I almost feel like it could be the season 1 group. Certainly doesn't feel like season 5. I will say, on a positive note, it is very easy to visualise what's going on. Christopher Golden doesn't confuse the reader. Some books make me feel really dumb when I have to flick back to catch up. I ain't dumb, some books are just badly written. So yeah I appreciate that you could sit and read it in one sitting without any confusion.
