This years Vampire Ball is being held on the 2-5th December at the Renaissance Hotel, Heathrow

Great line-up so far. I got my gold ticket and booked a room at the hotel last week. I mainly did it with Amy in mind, even though I shouldn't have!

I've been to several of them, not done the Gold ticket, which gets you the meet and greet on the friday night though.

So Friday is registering, opening ceremony, meet and greet for Gold and the party.

Saturday is panels, photos and autos, then the fancy dress parade and party

Sunday is the same during the day, closing ceremony and party, plus survivors photo if you last til the end of the party.

I love it, it's so organised and relaxed, a real casual con. Of course most this run a bit late but we just class it all as running to Starfury time!

Depending on finances I intend to go.

I'm hoping that Dayne goes again and does the Illyria make up demo.

A gold ticket and 3 nights in the hotel is going to add up to around £400. Thats a lot for a con

Being serious, I don't think hotels would let you sleep in the car park. Else everyone would and they'd lose money

You could try Airbnb? They tend to be cheaper than hotels and there'll be plenty of choice around the Heathrow area I bet....

Eliza Dushku has been announced! Means tickets are selling fast. I tend to stay at the con hotel if at all possible, just because it's so much easier, but yeah it's not the cheapest even with the event discount. Good thing about Heathrow is the pubs nearby, the Pheasant is amazing for food, great portions for a good price.
