Joss Whedon won the Science Fiction and Fantasy writers award for best script- Serenity. I assume he smacked down stuff like the final Stars Wars, and Batman Begins.

All winners were present except for Carol Emshwiller, whose award was accepted by Gordon Van Gelder, and Joss Whedon, whose award was accepted by Michael Cassutt.
