Does anyone else read the letters section in the comics?

Dark Horse editor Scott Allie answers an oft-asked question concerning whether Dark Horse, or IDW can use characters being dealt with by the other publisher. The assumption being IDW has some kind of prior legal arrangement saying only they can present Angel or Spike. Here's what Scott says about that, and whether or not the two vamps will appear in Season 8.

Oh, Spike and Angel won't just be mentioned - next issue you're gonna get an image burned into your head that I suspect many of you are not gonna want to ger rid of. IDW doesn't own those guys any more than we own Buffy - the whole kit and kaboodle is owned by 20th Century Fox, and we just rent 'em out. And we all tend to try to play nice with their creator, Joss Whedon.

The slashy part of my mind went bonkers reading that statement. So now we gotta wait another whole freakin' month to actually see this image.

I hate having surprises dangled in front of my face with no relief in sight.

Heh! Right there with you on the slash! I'm flashing back to Spike's, "well, except for that one time...." LOL!
I think we're gonna see the two of them in an intimate situation. Just cuz of how he says it "many of you are not gonna want to ger rid of" I think he means the female readers. But I don't think it will be real just in the dream thing Buffys in!

it sounds very exciting, though my money is on it involving one or the other - not both our boys. the dream scenario sounds viable but dosen't #3 have something to do with true love?

Yeah, I thought Buffy needed
the kiss of true love to wake her up
in issue #3. But yeah I read that comment as suggesting it was the both of them in an intimate moment... I havent got Issue#2 yet.

Was it just me or did a couple of the letters in the back of that issue seem to be written by half-wits?
