In # 4 Willow does this astral projecty thing where her essence appears to cross dimensions and enter a trans-reality housing these five female beings of apparently, changeable size who appear to be friendly to the witch.
I heard someone refer to them as the Elementals on the discussion thread. Naturally I assume this is a Wicca thing so I hop over to Google and do a search on "five elements Wicca".
Just in case anybody else is interested I may as well share.
The White Goddess
Like everything else Wicca I assume there are slightly different interpretations depending on the school of study.
Does anyone know what those formulas are written on the one? Is that string theory?

The Elements of the Wise and their Correspondences with The Pentagram.
The five elements that make up the whole of creation and their associations with the Pentacle and Wicca.
Earth - Wisecraft
Air - Philosophy/Knowledge
Fire - Magick
Water - Love/Worship
Aether or Spirit - Mystery/Mysticism
Ether or Spirit, the fifth non-material element, binds the other four together, but which is greater than the sum of its parts.
The Pentagram.
Is a five pointed star, that represents the five Elements of the Wise. It is also the symbol of the perfected human being. The four elements of material creation are surmounted by the fifth Element Of Spirit, the element that links us to the divine.
Each of the points of the Pentagram relates to a particular element and correspondence.
