I don't need much help, as although I'm new here, I'm certainly not new to online forums. I have a fairly good grasp of general forum etiquette and took the time to read the local rules.
The issue, however, is that I'm used to a software called VBulletin and have never used XenForo.
So mostly what I need is a quick crash course on the technical logistics around here. It would mean a lot to me and I'd be willing to "owe you one."
A little bit about me: I'm a 37 year old musician from Texas (but I'm not a redneck.) I have long, long hair and big, big holes in my ears. I'm a leftist and a dedicated altruist and am quite spiritual, but also tolerant and peaceful and non-judgemental; meaning I'm not one of these "holier than thou" religious folk. Instead, I am very loving and tend to get along with everyone I meet. I read incessantly and talk a lot. I broke my back a few years ago and am not able to work anymore; luckily my family has old farmland that still brings in money, and I live with my beautiful wife and dear sweet mother and we sort of all take care of one another.
It would mean a lot to me if one of you would be willing to take an hour or two to show me how the technical aspects of your community work and I would be forever in your debt.
