I'm currently halfway through reading Slayers and Vampires: The Complete Uncensored, Unauthorized, Oral History of Buffy the Vampire Slayer & Angel

From there, I'll be tackling: Into Every Generation a Slayer Is Born: How Buffy Staked Our Hearts
And then this book is apparently worth a read too: Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Myth, Metaphor & Morality

I'd love to hear about the behind-the-scenes/analytical/factual books on either series you've read. Your recommendations, which ones you enjoyed (and which ones you didn't). Have you read them all? I know there's a number of them out there.

I read Into Every Generation a Slayer Is Born: How Buffy Staked Our Hearts about a year ago, and thought it was easy to read and had some good insider info, though probably not new to older fans. I've also read Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Philosophy. There was a thread recently about it, and I've been meaning to read it again because of that. I love those "and Philosophy" books, though they can sometimes be a little erudite.

Never heard of the second book you mentioned, just looked it up. Sounds interesting!
