Demons or Aliens, Which is Wych?
Tara was shocked to know that Willow had wanted to end the world, more so when she discovered Willow had started to end the world, it was only due to the intervention of Xander that the world survived. Tara felt guilt that she had caused Willow to react the way she had even thought it was her death that caused Willow to seek help to erase her pain.
At least after the event itself she had been taken to coven of witches who would help Willow although it was too far for her to leave her other friends. It caused her to seek a girl who Willow had spoken to her of. The girl was of the same religion as Willow’s parents the girls name was Miriam.
Like Willow Miriam had chosen to become a witch, though she needed to teach herself the secrets of the natural world. Miriam’s ability had been concentrated in the knowledge of her being a healer. Miriam was able to tell Tara that she had been told that Buffy and Dawn had met three people who were part of the western European contingent that taught at schools.
She told Tara that there were about eighteen locations all over the world and that at each location was to teach children of all ages, though only a few people had found out that the prime reason was to teach those chosen to be the correct ones what the star clusters were about where they were due to be sent.
Younger children were initially taught in specific fields so they could learn the much needed information; a few people had been taught how to help the life in the seas and oceans, some were given the basis of care for the birds, animals and primates the live in the rain forests.
Buffy hadn’t realized that her new friends were in fact aliens yet Dawn had, almost instinctively she’d known though she didn’t mind, after all, the demons that she’d had to face were harsher than the aliens, just. Like the demons, the aliens were of various kinds and some were even found to be friendly.
Some aliens had sought to gain knowledge of how the people lived, when they found people the others who seemed just right for what they wanted they were taken though not knowing how mankind ruled all life they had become to be seen as scary by the few.
Buffy and Dawn had invited Willow and Miriam to move into the house they had just obtained on the top of a hill, a hill that had a cave at its base. Willow invited Giles to wander into the cave with her and Dawn though they took no notice of the ground at the side of the hill near the cave, that it seemed to be the result of a land slip.
Willow knew Giles had an interest for all things archaeological, with sturdy boots and heavy duty torches they entered the cave. Going to the back of it Giles found a passage that led further into the hill though it soon veered to the side until a boulder seemed to block their way. Dawn noticed a reflection of her torch seemed much further away than other areas.
They headed that way until they found themselves in a cavern, Giles had Willow and Dawn note the masses of foot traffic coming from the passage to the cave. The next day Buffy and Miriam were invited to be in the cavern. Buffy asked Giles how high he thought the cavern was, she asked him if her wine cellar might be affected.
Dawn and Miriam ventured away from the group to see how far the edged of the cavern was from the cave. What they noticed was the ledge just above the bottom of the cavern on the way back to the cave Dawn tripped over a something on the ground Miriam moved the light of her torch over where Dawn might have tripped.
They found a head was separate to the body though it was not of any type of demon they Dawn had seen before, taking it outside into the sunlight they looked at it. Dawn was surprised as it was would only be three foot high with its head on, Miriam had been deep in thought she said it reminded her of how some aliens were thought to be.
She turned to Dawn then pointed to the alien and stopped, “Did you put its head back on?” Miriam reacted in shock exclaiming her surprise. Though neither of them saw the aliens mouth move they heard another voice to each of theirs. It thanked them for allowing its batteries to be charged.
Dawn stared at Miriam as the voice in their heads told them of it taking buckets of soil from the cavern and that the soil was on the side of the hill. A spaceship had gone missing several thousand years before, he, the alien had thought it was there that in time the soil had blown over it and caused the hill to be.
Dawn told the alien she hoped he was wrong, if he was right Buffy’s house would collapse into the mounds of soil. The alien said if the spaceship was there it would alert it builders as it was a clone that had been on earth for seventeen thousand years, Dawn was amazed at how long it was on earth for she wanted to know what it had done.
As they wandered back to the cavern the alien said it had built machines to collect the energy from the planet, it had collected and stored the vast resources of wave, hydro and solar power. Once they were in the cavern, the alien went to the wall nearest the passage and uncovered a large whiteboard.
Giles asked the alien how it knew and why it taught English? The alien said that tests had been made about where would be best to seek knowledge of where the planet is and where to see what directions should be used, it stated about giving the directions to various parts of the planet; crop circles.
Willow said people had said they had made the crop circles not any aliens. The alien replied, it asked if they could prove they were not or if they were not descended from aliens. The alien said how to read the crop circles to find the directions of where to go. For those aliens on earth to say who will be of help to the future of the various universes.
Willow asked when they were next expected on earth, the alien replied it would ask. “How?” asked Willow. The alien was about to relate to Willow when Buffy interrupted them she said she had found a metallic object in the soil. The alien immediately left them and went to where Buffy said she had found the spaceship.
