hi, I just wanted to say hello to you all (& say that I'm so glad forum sites still exist and are alive). I'm currently watching the second season of buffy (three episodes so far) all thanks to my husband who's the biggest fan of the series walking on earth 😀 so fingers crossed I'll be careful enough not to encounter too many spoilers here (I already did elswhere on the internet which doesn't feel particularly good) but hey I don't want to wait till I finish all the seasons before I say hello here XD

Aww, thank you for such a warm welcome!!
I think it's inevitable to come across spoilers because 1) they can be anywhere (as Nix - hi! - has mentioned - signatures) 2) I would have to not search anything related to Buffy till I finish the series. My solution (for now) is not to check threads related to later seasons - I don't know, maybe that'll work for a while - besides, we've kind of set an everyday routine to watch at least one episode so I'll get there at some point 💜

yep, since I was 15 😌 thanks to them I got interested in the English language + met my then future husband at their concert in 2022, so well, they've been a huge part of my life. Btw, I've realised Spike and Eldritch could be brothers (cheekbones and cigarettes) xD

Oh yeah, I'm aware of it - but adult life can make achieving such an endeavour way harder 😉 - though sometimes we manage to watch three episodes in a row (like yesterday for instance) which is always awesome. So nice to meet you!

Also I believe I must have been Giles-like back when I studied English most of the time, constantly with some dictionaries and other books around & using walkman instead of the phone.
