Here's a thought for all Fan Fiction writers.

Should the next series NOT be a sequel and NOT be a reboot but it should be a continuation.

What tales should the fan fiction writer write about?

Slayers of the past? Or perhaps things that Buffy has been doing in the interim, though some more information would be needed before those could be done (as I really can't see the new series paying any attention to the comics).

Not to put to fine a point on it but comics . . . . what comics? tee hee

Which I think is going to be the attitude of the new series.

That makes me a tad disappointed, I'd cannot swear at the TV should anything that was in a comic appear in the New episode (series) cos I've never seen any of the comics.

Comics are badfic from the "man" himself. They demonstrate what a little wanker he would be if given free rein to ruin, desecrate and degrade his characters just because he could. TV and the various conatraints imposed on his ego by co-producers, production companies and money interests actually limited his nuttier ideas IMO.

And the 13th circular level of Hell has the false appearance the writers of that badfic have denegraded the characters to look like.
Lets give them so called illustrators some new characters to spoil.
On second thoughts, sod the comics completely, then they cannot spoil the actors looks or personas.

There are not many people who know about the 14th level of hell, mainly because it is there purely for those who have been involved with the production of a television shows comic.
