My eyesight is fading fast!! Last time I had it checked, they said its fine, off you go, come back in your 40's. Well now I am in my 40's and I notice, it is probably time.

I cant see your banner at all @ILLYRIAN 😛 I still have images turned off. But dont stress, there is a board upgrade going on, so what ever issues you are having will probably be resolved once its done.

I always forget what my banner is, then when I see it on my preferences page I get a good giggle! Love this scene 😀

I do have really good eyesight, when I'm wearing my glasses, or if I am reading then I use my reading glasses. When I look at the supernatural I try to use my third eye.
 
With my glasses I correct to 20/15 (better than 20/20). Without them I can function mostly, although things blur with distance. For example, I could drive and wouldn't be worried about hitting cars, but I might not be able to read a street sign in time to turn.

My eye checks are also a little more involved. I have extremely large optic nerves, right on the border of too big. That can be an early sign of glaucoma, but my Dr. is reasonably sure I'm ok since they have ALWAYS been large.
 
I used to have amazing eyesight, but all these years of staring at a computer screen for work (and art!!) has killed my eyes. I finally had to break down and get glasses last spring.
 
You know your eyesight is getting worse when you notice how comfortable you feel in the chair when you is having your eyesight checked.

When having long distance glasses for driving you become aware you cannot focus on the dials on the dashboard.
 
I have terrible eyesight, always have. I'm lucky that there are lightweight plastic lenses now for glasses, or I'd have the proverbial coke-bottle-bottom glasses. I need to get my eyes checked soon!

I'm not much good at throwing a pistol or a rifle at a target, but that's me.
