Chosen 7.22
Angel arrives in time to help Buffy fight Caleb. After his death Buffy and Angel embrace in a kiss and she instructs him to leave, go work on the second front. He gives her the amulet and Spike watches as the First insults Buffy. She returns home and has words with Spike about it. She decides that she has an idea and wants to meet with the gang. She explains in a meeting to the scoobs and later to the potentials her plans. Up until now everything has remained the same, here is the difference:
The next day the enter the school and split as planned before. Buffy enters the caverns with the gang and sees the thousands of ubervamps. A voice rings out from the other side. We see the First as Buffy. "So, you thought you'd bring the battle here? You want a battle? I'll give you a battle." The ubervamps begin to storm the gang.
Flash to Willow. She looks at Kennedy, "Oh my goddess" she activates the slayers. Flash back to Buffy's speech to the potentials about the choice. Flash back to Willow. Her hair remains white and she stands. Kennedy is not shocked at this. She looks to her "You ready for part two?" Willow hands her the scythe "I'll be ready, take this to Buffy". Kennedy leaves. She arrives with the slayers as they are activated. A huge battle takes place. Flash to the other scoobs, they fight as the ubers and minions of the first attack.
Flash back to Buffy. Slayers are dying around her. The first appears to Buffy in the form of Glory. "I'm starting to win here sweetie, you know that right?" A second incarnation of the First appears to Buffy in the form of the Mayor "Golly, surprised? It doesnt matter slayer..." Another First arrives as Drusilla "As long as I remain incorpreal..." Another as the Master "I can appear as many times as many people as I want..." Another as Adam "And thats the truth, its all withing perameters slayer..." Another as Buffy "You're spell was weak....that all you got?"
Spike screams "Buffy!" The sun is channeling through him, ubervamps are dying and burning. The sunlight travels through the school and kills the vamps fighting the gang. They all run to the hellmoutht to join the battle. They see Buffy surrounded by incarnations of the First. Flash back to Buffy.
The first as Glory smiles "ok...didn't see that one coming. But still, its only a matter of time before I raise another." Buffy runs to Spike and holds his hand as he burns and dies. The incarnations of the first approach Buffy.
The First as Buffy "All you've bought is time. It will take no time to raise my army and we'll battle again soon..." Buffy cuts her off. "You know what? Why don't you fight yourself? Oh thats right you can't, you can take the form of whatever you want but in the end, you're six incarnations of a weak ass monster."
The First as Buffy responds "A weak ass monster that will never have to fight." The ground begins to shake. The cavern is unsteady. Nothing is caving in yet, but the ground is shaking terribly. Buffy looks at the first and smiles "Think again."
The roof of the cavern rips open so all we can see is sunshine, from the roof comes Willow floating in as the rest of the gang battles the first minions and Buffy watches. Willow is chanting in Latin. As she chants we hear a voice over from her. "Buffy, I'm not sure, but if this goes according to plan we can solidify the First in whatever form it chooses. Once in that form it will be strong but it'll still have the weaknesses of the form it chooses." She sends pure light from her hands into the incarnations of the First making them scream in pain.
After the light show Willow collapses on the ground. Giles has a voice over as Buffy approaches the first "It's risky Buffy, the First may begin to take more forms, once the scales tip its anyones guess how the First will react." Buffy walks over to the First as her and smiles "Guess what?" Buffy slams the First across the cavern. "You're not so incorpreal anymore". The army of Slayers arrive behind Buffy as the other first incarnations back away.
"Buffy don't try to multiply your self anymore, you're finished. There is six parts to kill and when the last falls, you're gone." She looks to the slayers to her right. "You all take the Master and Drusilla" She points them out to the girls. "You" to the left of her "You take demon cyborg guy and The Mayor. Whatever you do, don't let the mayor shift." She looks to Faith "You take Glory." Faith smiles "Lookin for a good fight." Buffy looks ahead "I'll take me." She looks at Giles and gang. "Help where you can. Once things go down, run." The gangs split to their respectable villains.
Major fights ensue, more losses of life as the gang fights. Suddenly the ground begins to shake and a black swirling portal begins to open from the ground. Giles looks at Buffy "Its the hellmouth!" Suddenly the hellmouth demons tentacles begin to fly from the portal. The gang looks in awe. At this point the Master and Drusilla have been killed. Adam falls into the portal and Glory and Faith are still going at it to give fans their long awaited Faith and Glory fight. Buffy and the first as Buffy contine to battle along side Glory and Faith. Buffy loses the scythe on a cliff and continues to fight with only a stake. The mayor has yet to be defeated and he begins his accension. "No! Don't let him!" Buffy screams as the mayor begins to ascend. Luckily for the slayers the Hellmouth demon wraps its tentacles around the mayor and sucks it in. Rona looks to Giles "Lucky eh?" Giles looks worried "not necessarily" the hellmouth demon fully, for the first time, emerges from the hellmouth. "You see, in order to come about the hellmouth demon must feed, and the mayor made a rather sizeable snack". Buffy chimes out "Fight it! Keep fighting!" Finally Faith grabs the scythe and kills Glory. She looks at Buffy who is now across the canyon. "Buffy!" Buffy looks to Faith "I'm ok! Fight the demon!" The entire gang is now battling the hellmouth demon as Buffy and the First battle. Buffy stops to the First "Last part, once you're gone, the battles done" The First smiles "Not gonna loose that easily. You see as every part of me died, those left got stronger. So now, I'm pissed." the first slams buffy across the cavern into a wall knocking her out and impaling her on a rock. Blood is flowing liberally from Buffy's stomach wound. The first hovers over to her. "So sad, good fight, but I don't think you can finish it." Suddenly a light appears before the First. Out of it steps Joyce. Buffy looks up "Mom?" Joyce smiles "yes dear. I've come to help." She looks to the First. "I've got a message from the powers that be..." She slams the First across the caverns and through the cavern wall. "They're pissed." She looks down to Buffy. She touches her stomach healing her. "Get them out of here Buffy and then finish it yourself." She holds out her hand and the scythe appears. "Tell Faith to get them out of here." Buffy stands. She looks back and her mom is gone. Buffy looks to Faith "Get them out of here!" The caverns begin to shake. The black portal is growing. There is barely enough room to get out. The gang flees. Buffy walks to the First. "So, this is it? This was all you had? All that I've faced in eight years combined?" Buffy tosses the scythe up and it knocks a loose boulder down ontop of the First. The first's face, which is Buffys, begins to fade away. It reveals the nastier demon that we have seen but only a glimpse of. It is not bigger than normal, just a demon. Buffy stands over it "Thank you, today you showed me what a slayer really is." She beheads the first and it dies. She begins to run from the cavern but it caves in on her. We see the Bus leaving Sunnydale and it stops as the gang gets out to see a large hole in the ground. The gang mourns Buffy until they see a hand reach out of the hole. Buffy climbs out of the ground and is *surprise!* alive. They look back and the show ends much like mr. whedon ended it.
The End....Grrrr Arrrrgh
