Darla had decided it to herself,
“I am going to the college campus at Sunnydale but not to see that damned slayer,”
Darla began to grin at her own witticism.
Referring to a Vampire Slayer by the word damned, a word normally used for that of a vampire. Darla felt as though she would see her there. Darla went to the building where she had an impression of the girl but the Psi Theta charter was there, there was no evidence of her niece ever having been there. Darla wandered amongst the bushes hoping to see her. She had been wandering about for several nights before she found her.
Darla was happy to see her descendent though she was unimpressed by her appearance. Darla invited the girl to sit next to her, she smiled because the girl seemed so insecure. Darla put an arm about the girls shoulders,
“People will take much more notice of you if you behave like you know what you are doing.”
Darla grinned at the girl,
“Do something with your hair, so that other will remember you, when they do remember you you'll take control of them much easier. For starter you should have a name people will remember, so what name do you have now?”
The girl looked to Darla and meekly shrugged her shoulders. Darla gave one of her loving smiles,
“You should try using the word Sunday, it is different enough for people to want to remember it.”
Sunday began to smile,
“If you do not mind telling me, what is your name?” asked Sunday.
Darla smiled to her,
“When I was a young girl and I first learnt to talk my mother told me my name was Bronwyn, my grandfather was Welsh.
So when I became a vampire my sire told me my name would be Darla.”
“Would you like it if I said your name is Darla,” asked Sunday.
Darla smiled sweetly to Sunday,
“Yes that would be nice, I mean you are my niece umpteen times removed but we are related,” said Darla.
Sunday faced Darla, smiled then asked her what she should do next.
“In the visions I have had were of you where Psi Theta are so we should start by scaring them out of that building so that you can start a cadre of vampires to be there.
Three days later they were inside the building.
“I'm still not so sure about this place, there is no furniture here,” said Sunday.
Darla grinned to her,
“In that case we should end one of the residents of this place take their stuff and leave a message saying the person whatever their name was couldn't take it.
You should make them be part of your cadre. When you have enough people around you you should get rid of the rest of your victims, turn them them kill them.
“How will I get them to be with me?” asked Sunday.
Darla looked to her,
“Don't even think that you need to consider them, just assume you are better than them. Make them accept you as their leader and you'll find they do accept you as their leader. Now lets see about taking that building Psi Theta have and making it yours,” said Darla.
Darla smiled to Sunday, then Sunday returned the smile.
