My Ranking of the Whedonverse Seasons, Thoughts?

I would generally agree, except I liked BtVS S6. You need sub-levels for "brilliant," since most of the Buffyverse ended up on one line!
 
Mine would be rather easy: Firefly, Buffy seasons 2 & 3 - legendary
Buffy seasons 4 & 5 - brilliant
Season 6 - okay
Season 7 & Angel - hate

Should be something between brilliant and okay, though. That's where I'd probably put season 4.

I know it just I found it so so hard to place them on separate levels because I truly do love them all so much
 
You need a good level between brilliant and okay, and to watch season 2 of Dollhouse and see where that ends up.
 
I can't really tell which seasons of Buffy are which. I'm not familiar with those dvd covers. It's good to see Angel S5 rated so highly, though I'd put most of the Buffy seasons at the same legendary status. Strike that, I'd put all the Buffy seasons at the Legendary status. I also rated Angel S3 highly. I wasn't a great fan of Dollhouse or Firefly.

Why do you hate Angel?
 
Legendary: Buffy S2, Buffy S3, Buffy S5, Angel S2, Firefly

Brilliant: Buffy S4, Buffy S6, Angel S3, Angel S5, Dollhouse S2, The Nevers

Okay: Buffy S1, Buffy S7, Angel S1, Angel S4, Dollhouse S1

AoS isn't Joss but S4 is Brilliant.
 
Well I never watch much of Dollhouse or Firefly so I don't have much of an opinion on either of them.

So it's just BTVS and ATS to review....

HATE - BTVS 6

Dislike - BTVS 7

Okay - ATS 5

(Cheats version!) In Between Okay And Brilliant - BTVS 1, BTVS 4, ATS 1, ATS 4

Brilliant - BTVS 5, ATS 2, ATS 3

Legendary - BTVS 2, BTVS 3

As for AoS, even though JW had very little to do with the show after the pilot, all seasons would be either brilliant or Legendary for me! Love that show.

Okay- Buffy season 7, Angel season 3, Angel season 4

Stop the average person in the street - mention Firefly, Dollhouse, Angel and BtVS and I'm pretty confident s/he will only have heard of the last two (and if they only know one it will be BtVS). "Legendary" is more objective than the others categories. It requires an element of public consensus. A legend lives on in the public consciousness and for it to live on stories have to be told, have to be shared, about her/him/it. Mention Elvis, Mercury or Jackson and people know them even if they don't know/don't like their music. Using this criteria I'd put all 7 episodes of BtVS in the top category. Angel in "Brilliant" (which is more subjective) and...well I don't know about the others. I've only seen one episode of Firefly (it was okay) and never seen/never wanted to see Dollhouse.
 
Legendary : BTVS S3, S5 & S2. ATS S2.
Brilliant : ATS S4 & S5. BTVS S6 & S4.
Okay : Dollhouse (only seen it once), BTVS S1 & S7. ATS S1 & S3.
Never seen Firefly

ATS S1 would be more in the Meh category though.

Love the graphic you created. I would move Angel seasons 3 and 4 down to Okay or Dislike. I do love Dollhouse, you should watch season 2.
