Hello all!! I just found this site and was wondering if anyone here was part of The Bronze way back? I went by Kathy (which just so happens is my real name) and I had met quite a few really great people. I also attended two of the L.A. parties (2000 and 2001 I believe) which were so wonderful. Anyway, if you were part of that, please say hi! If not, that's ok, I like meeting new people too!

Welcome back to the forum! You will find a few names have changed and people have come and gone (or have been banned) but most of the discussions keep on going. I joined in 2012, so I'm just one of the latecomers as far as you are concerned. The forum is intelligent and civil now but that wasn't always the case.

Thank you! I really can't remember the last time I was on the Buffy Chat room. I think it was right after The Bronze was taken down. I went to the new site but it was never the same.
Hello there! Welcome to the Boards.

I only lurked on the Bronze, but enjoyed the daily banter. At the time the BBC had a Buffy Board which was quite active so I posted on there (always used the same username).
When the BBC closed it down most of the members switched to a general 'CultTV Board' but after a few years that fizzled out.
I didn't really post anywhere for some years after that...until I found this little gem of a hangout! 🙂

While there are no cast members posting here, (That we know of 😉 ) I think you'll find it a fun place to be!

I used to love posting and chatting on the board. It was very addicting, and I came to meet some very sweet people in which remained friends to this day.
Welcome! I was never a part of the Bronze, but I did chat in the Buffy Chatrooms on UPN’s website and was a member of CityOfAngel before coming here in 2005. So glad you have joined us!

Welcome! I only joined 5 years ago so I don’t know anything about the previous boards but it’s really cool that you used to go to parties!

It was so much fun! I met so many of the cast and so many other fans. I'll post some pictures from the parties, I just have to find them.
Well came on in 2012 & then fell off for sa number of years before coming back & been here since .

Glad to see you back here or in my case just here 😀

I've never been on this board, this is my first time. I was part of the original board back when Buffy was on. It was super cool, everyone (almost) were so great.
Well, I must admit that it is so disappointing that you like meeting new people.
I am definitely not a new person, still though I am open to meeting new people which is just as well as most people are fairly new when compared with me.
 
I've been in the Buffyverse fandom since the summer of 2004, though didn't join in online until early 2005. I still remember the Save Angel campaign being in its final dying days.

I've been on quite a few boards with at least memberships on most of them. I missed out on the Bronze, though.

I also go back to the pre-YouTube days of Buffyverse fanvids and fanfic being hosted on personal sites.

I can't imagine any original cast members wanting to have anything to do with that show anymore.....especially if it wasn't a very good work environment, as we all recently found out about.
