See why Buffy Coloured her Hair

She stood in the front room of her little home and stared out one of the window at the lawn. She continued to stare at a tree at the edge of the lawn where the droplets of water from the waterfall cascaded onto the leaves of grass. Buffy wanted to know how the green could be better where the water affected what soil the grass grew in.

It made her wonder if the colour of her hair would be enhanced if her body was enhanced by having her food intake balanced, to make herself become favoured. A bright light in her room gave the ten minutes she had in the bathroom be enough time for Buffy to broaden the health of her hair from strands of dry straw to a needy growth of healthy hair.

She had allowed herself to gently pass the brush of many individual strands of plastic through her hair, trailing the strands she watched in the mirror, her diet of animal flesh caused her body to support the life of her hair to bounce with every stride she took. Buffy wanted to like the way she looked, as others who saw her crown of hair speak of the wealth of her health.

She congratulated herself though she was unknown it was Oz. He who would pass the time telling Willow that he thought of the time that Buffy had been happy to hear the words spoken when she changed the colour of her hair. Oz told Willow of Buffy’s inclination to change her hair colour in order to go unknown in the company of those who hated her.

To wander amongst the various demons Buffy could gather their rights of passage in order to be able to attack them without impunity. Buffy was glad she could pass as a person unknown that she was able to seek out those who she had been directed to, then to rid the world of them yet she never knew Giles had instructed Oz to give guidance to her.

Even our Willow had not known it was Oz, he kept his secret from her until such time that Willow could be brought in to his guidance of the Slayer. Even Oz never knew it was Buffy he guided, Giles decided to keep the secret apart from each of them deciding to disclose of what was once the slayer had been able to successfully rid the world of many demons.

See Why Buffy Coloured her Hair Part 2

Buffy had spent the first part of the morning applying the warm Ginger colour to her hair, having done so she thought it appropriate to create long wavy curls for her appearance. Though she wanted to keep the boys interest in her looks such was her interest in her ability to wander through any realm of the evil entity’s domain that she needed them to idolize her looks.

Even though they fought for the opposite sides their acceptance was the will that they could smile to each other at the end of the day. As many was the time that they fought against each other that they managed to find an enjoyment with each others company amongst the others choice of friends. Having thrust so many blows on the other they needed solitude and peace.

Squaring each other many times into the others future they created a likeness that neither would see as a problem. Buffy was glad that her new hair colour and style allowed her to be able to feign an interest in the demon that seemingly gave her a will to be accepted by any who she wanted to appear to be friends with, that gave Buffy her ability to want the demons like of her.

She knew that her chosen hair colour and style won over any demon she wanted to win over, her smiles were accepted as genuine by them, it was as if her time spent with the inhabitants of the underworld had become to be of interest to the other, an interest that neither of them wanted for their other friends to need to be answered.

Once was the time that Oz loved to bait Willow asking her the first of three questions, ‘is there a God?’ ‘where does that God exist’ and ‘will that God be willing to be at our side?’ Buffy now spent time trying to answer those questions to satisfy her own sense and will of being friends, when Willow was asked she could not give a definite answer. As such neither of them could.

Buffy became worried that her appearance might cloud the judgement of those she wished to be friends with, Buffy caused herself the concern that wearing bright cheerful short dresses might provide those she sought no more than a friendship with. She wished to expect no more than friendship from yet Buffy allowed herself to promote the pain of thought and anxiety.

Willow gave her the knowledge that could be gained from asking what a friend might think when she asked Buffy how she would react should Harmony decide she wanted to be Buffy’s lover. Stunned by the thought Buffy backed away from giving an answer that Harmony would want. Willow smiled, the friendship you receive is your choice regardless of what that person gives.

As per usual Willow could not give a definitive answer about what the person thought of Buffy’s choice to wear short skirts though she was able to smile at the prospect that Buffy would wear short skirts in her company, such was Willow’s answer with her wish to seek a beautiful friendship regardless of whether attractive clothes were worn, Willow did smile though.

The demon did not want to be misunderstood by Buffy even though he did appreciate her choice of clothing, not only did it give the demon happiness the demon valued having the friends of Buffy dress attractively. Who decided what that level of attractiveness was no one knew though the demon never asked for the slayers friends to be overtly dressed within sexy clothes.

Neither Buffy knew nor did Willow care what the demon wanted or expected from either of them all the demon wanted was for them to appear as a nice person. The demon wanted both Buffy and Willow to wear clothes that would allow them to fight without the feeling that their motion were being challenged by what they wore. The demon did like to smile to them after the fight.

When Oz asked the question, ‘what happens when we die’ he wanted Willow to answer him honestly, he knew Buffy’s answer would give him a degree of sexy, it wasn’t that Buffy’s clothes exuded that sexy vibe more that his version of what she wore gave him the pleasant manner of both Buffy and Willow’s tale of being sexy.

Oz considered it further that he saw Willow as being dressed sexy because she kept the company of a girl who usually dressed sexy. Oz chose to ignore that thought as it was his value that willed him to think Willow was dressed sexy. Oz was happy with whatever Willow wore, he would always see her as a person of beauty, not that he needed to, her personality was such.

At many times Oz, the demon and Buffy would value Willow’s company for reasons other than if she looked good. Willow gave those who sought her company the knowledge that she would always have their best interests at heart. Many times were the demon and Oz brought together by Willow with the possibility that she wanted them to be as one entity.

Such was the power that Willow possessed, it caused Buffy to question the results she cherished, such were the results that knowing the answer to that question Willow needed to quickly respond with a question wanting the knowledge she expected Oz to supply her with. Was there also a need for the proof of God and as such for the proof of the Devil.

Getting into questions of religious deity’s always caused Buffy and Willow to seek answers on what the others belief on their religion was. Willow was usually amazed at what Oz spoke of, because in all the time she had known him he never had anything to say about his chosen faith, both Willow and Buffy contradicted each other when talk was made.

Willow gained knowledge of Oz’s belief when they started to treat each other as their best friend and more so after their first kiss together. Buffy laundered the notions of Willow’s even though she remembered it was through Oz’s statements that Willow had begun her interest in magic, Oz underestimated her interest in magic after he ventured all the parts of religions in witchcraft.

He was first introduced to the names of the four winds as they affected the lights of the moon, watching the fires where one stood when calling to each one, who was who. Within Oz grew a friendship with each Deity of the four winds. Relinquishing the likenesses of the moon who lit his movements when the sun failed to cause reflection from a brightness of a strained darkness.

Willow pulled the beginnings of light from the glow of darkness and then had her see him as a friend, for her friends to always be seen with. Willow asked the Goddess of the moon to know that her friend should always be seen and treated as she Willow wanted her to see friend, such was the will from Willow for the goddess of the moon to see Oz as a friend.

Oz once told Willow of a friend a friend of whom he had value with. Oz declined the notion that he had once known the girl who had died according to her friend in mysterious circumstances. The girl had spoken to her mother in such a way the girl had wondered if she had known she was going to die soon in a way that the girl was okay with knowing she was about to die.

The girls name was Cassie though Oz never said that to Willow. Buffy requested that Dawn should follow the girl to try and learn why she did not fear the last days of her life. So many times Buffy tried to understand but the girl accepted death as a matter of fact. Learning that death could be simply be seen as a part of life to understand.

Having decided to spend more time together Buffy and Willow sought an understanding they both could fathom. Willow led Buffy to see where the people they knew could be buried then Dawn created a path for them to follow to see where their unknown friends were buried, Buffy remembered her gift from the prom, she wondered where they had been buried.

Favouring a blue highlight in her hair Buffy wandered behind Willow as she wandered through the local home for the ashes of dead friends had been collected. Finding belief that the addition of names on the walls brought the belief that the dead had contaminated the grounds of all the flowers in each of the towns gardens.

The girls were disappointed that they found there was no new evidence in the number of burial sites to link the reasons for their acquaintances – all their unnatural deaths, Willow offered no knowledge of life after death so Buffy gave Willow a lesson in the value of the living giving the dead a valuable reason for life to be made available.

Relinquishing the belief that her mother would have appreciated another term to live out more life, Buffy found value knowing that death could be accepted as a form of happiness after the tears from their friend’s funeral. Willow gave Dawn the understanding that brought meaning and understanding from the happiness that sadness had given her.

Buffy grew despondent that her hair colour was starting to fade so whilst Buffy had begun to search through the medicinal pharmaceuticals in Willow’s cabinet above her bathroom sink, Buffy ignored the mirror, Buffy was shocked to find a tube of red hair colour. Buffy kept searching for a small box of pain relief tablets to help cure her headache.

See Why Buffy Coloured Her Hair Part 4

Not wanting to be recognized in her next attack Buffy decided to cut her hair and change her hair colour again, opting for short black hair though she decided to not have a fringe. She cut her hair to be a few inches above her collar then poured the black colour onto her hair.

Putting in her long teeth Buffy wandered amongst the vampires until she saw those who she had vowed to plunge her favourite long pointy shard of wood into. Using her figure to cause the vampires to follow her she lured them into a trap.

When the next ones were being lured Buffy realised that Willow was near her, “What are we doing?” asked Willow. Buffy pointed to three vampire, “I’m using my body to lure the vampires into a trap, Buffy undid her top buttons to show an impressive amount of cleavage.

“I know I will be able to get two of them were I want them,” said Buffy. Willow grinned then took off her sweater and pulled her sweatshirt tight, she knew that her small breasts would be perfect for any vampire to be impressed with.

Buffy agreed with her as Willow pulled her jeans up to be just a bit tighter. Buffy smiled, she had never thought of them as being sex objects, “I’m not sure about us being that way but as far as dragging vampires to their doom, I will be as sexy as I can,” said Willow.

Both Buffy and Willow presented themselves as best as they could, they knew they were attracting the vampires when several females began to follow them as well. Willow looked at them and sighed, “Shame they are vampires,

mind you at least I know what I can do should I ever want to,” said Willow. She pulled her sweatshirt taught, she knew the bumps of her body being thrust at the intended victim was working well. Buffy knew what her friend was doing.

Buffy allowed her body to be as visually appealing so that both Willow and her could attract the vampires they wanted, knowing that no vampire could refuse to being attracted to the two of them, waiting for the vampires to move closer

they prepared themselves to be as visually appealing as possible, the vampires drew closer to them they obviously hoped they would be lucky. As his hands were about to touch Buffy’s chest he suddenly realised his mistake, Willow pulled his head to the side

Buffy grabbed one of his shoulders and pulled it backwards as Willow shoved a shard of wood deep into his chest. Not wanting to be left out Buffy grabbed a shard of wood with her left hand and swung him further around, plunging her piece of wood into where his heart would be.

Willow smiled at Buffy, “I have tried to kill vampires before but I was dressed up in a big coat, what we just did, being as sexy as is legally allowed, that was so exciting. I want to do it again, Buffy smiled to her friend and if you ever get embarrassed

change your hair colour, you would be like that guy in AC/DC going on stage dressed as a schoolboy because of stage fright. “Being dressed in a way no one will see me as me, I do like the idea of that,” said Willow.

Seeing another vampire in front of them, opening their tops to expose a little more cleavage, enough so no one would think it was them. They threw themselves on the vampire before he had realised who they were, they struck fatal blows on him.

Willow smiled to Buffy and asked if there were any more vampires, Buffy smiled to Willow, “Before we do, I suggest you change your looks, you can do so much more when no one knows who you are,” said Buffy.

See Why Buffy Coloured Her Hair Part 5

A slim girl with fair hair stood in front of Buffy, she undid her top buttons around her neck to allow her skin the ability to breath plus the girl wanted to entice any vampires who might see her invite a bloodsucker to sink its fangs into her neck veins, though no mention was made of the slayer and her pal being a few steps behind it, the dripping blood on the washing line.

Willow thought it a good sign that the vampire was almost ready when the girl lifted the loosened collar away from her skin. Willow stopped herself from being attracted to the girls neck, she doubted herself was she a lesbian or did she fancy the girl. Buffy heard her thoughts and told her so then asked Willow if she was turning into a vampire.

Willow faced Buffy, the look of horror clearly visible on Willow’s face though that look did not last long, Buffy’s cheeky grin put paid to Willows fears and any nearby vampire found that fears of having a slayer remove its fangs in front of any congregation when the vampire was about to sink them into a person’s vein on their neck.

Buffy questioned Willow about her contracting any diseases the vampire may have uncovered on the fangs, she told Willow that no vampire could ever contract a disease from a victim so could it mean a case of once bitten the disease would be terminated. Willow signified that she was not aware of when the vampire removed a victim’s illness.

Willow stated that the Powers That Be might protect the slayer from contracting any disease gained while in the doing of her fight against the undead dead. “It is just as well you have stopped sleeping with Spike or Angel as I am equally as unsure if a vampire could contract an STD or if a vampire could pass the curse of cancer.”

Trying not to give the fear of contracting an STD from Spike much more thought as she knew the PTB would not offer her any protection from the ravages of what ever would befall her, as they would simply start to train the next slayer. Buffy thought hard about the prospect and started to get Willow to be ready for the next slayer.

Willow felt ill at ease, why was Buffy testing her in the manner for how to relate to a new vampire slayer. Did Buffy know that her time as a slayer was about to end. Willow thought that Dawn might know but was unable to convince herself which was the right way to approach Dawn about the prospect of Buffy dying, and there was the possibility that she was wrong.

Willow avoided thinking about the subject by tracking some vampires who were thought to be responsible for attacking a group of humans who had killed several vampires. Willow was curious about how the humans knew about the vampires, in the fullness of time Willow discovered all was not how it first appeared.

The humans had attacked the vampires and left them morbidly injured at the scene of the attack. The humans then accepted the findings that it was the vampires who had begun the attack. It was only after Willow had investigated how the initial attack had been covered up that she realized it was the vampires who had tried to seek innocence for the attack.

Willow told Buffy of her findings and that how the humans had caused the deaths, Buffy shrugged her shoulders as she began to prepare herself to kill the vampires then to kill the humans, Willow questioned why Buffy should kill the humans yet Buffy replied that it was a group of humans who tried to get away with killing the humans.

Buffy stated she only sought to protect the humans who lived in the suburbs from the unwanted elements of their own kind. Willow saw that they needed to contract a few of the demon kind to tell them when the humans were doing the wrong thing to others of their own kind, Dawn suggested to Buffy to contact the PTB to start a new sort.

Willow wanted a group of witches who were trained to specifically seek the truth in all facets of whatever kind had been taken from the humans. Buffy thought it might help, “Knowing who was telling the truth would be good, problem is can a witch read the mind of a human who is dead?”

See Why Buffy Coloured Her Hair Part 6

She had spent almost an hour bent over the sink to colour her hair black and change the style of her hair back to be deep waves, she added just a hint of grey to highlight her hair when she made her locks bounce when she jumped over the graves of her intended victims, not only were they this nights want to be victims but said vampires and some were thought to be werewolves.

The concept of which excited Buffy more than she could tell her friends about, she had even polished her strongest shards of wood. With her bag of tricks being full to the brim Buffy wandered through the cemetery delightfully jumping over the graves that the church had been happy to re-use for the umpteenth time.

Buffy decided it would be best if she kept her opinions to herself especially from Willow as her thoughts of Oz would cause more than one or two disagreements between them even if Buffy said the werewolf was a descendent of Veruca. That caused several moments of humour to Buffy as it caused her fond times of how to tell if the werewolf had been a descendent of Veruca.

The concept of which just wouldn’t leave Buffy. Wandering through the graveyard Buffy looked at the headstones, she also kept watch for other people who searched among the headstones, Buffy longed for the night she would see another person looking at names, Buffy thought it would be fun to chisel on a headstone, to complain to a person that her name was spelt wrong.

But there was no such luck to be had for Buffy that night, the most she had to cheer her was three vampires that needed to be despatched. At least Buffy knew she looked good even though she was in disguise, it was a long time since she had been able to think of new one liners to say to the freshly despatched as it had been a long time since she had started.

She thought it might be a bit of a cheek to ask the despatched vampires if they would remind her of the gems of humour she had stated when she had thrust the lump of wood into their chest. It never occurred to her before then that if the vampire was able to be a ghost she’d be able to retrieve her joyous one liners of humour, maybe not joyous from the victims point of view.

It had never occurred to Buffy but what of the human that Faith killed, was it possible that he could be called to a séance, or if Buffy had despatched him could he be asked to remember if any one liners were used, how would Faith react to her idea. Buffy thought of the snake that Harry Potter despatched, could he speak to the ghost of a snake, were snakes a humourus animal?

Buffy said more than one rude word about what Joss Whedon had chosen to do, if only he had spent more time getting on writing the humourus one liners for her to use rather than being the agent for a car hire company in Veronica Mars she would still be able to make up joyful comments to tell to the victims of wood.

So many times had Buffy despatched a vampire from a grave and not once had she asked the vampire about her, nor had the vampire exclaimed the wonder of being despatched by her. Buffy had always wanted to exclaim that she had killed such and such to the vampires face, then when the vampire questioned if Buffy had heard of him she could say no, Buffy loved to smile at that.

Buffy longed for the night she would go on patrol in green wellington boots, she longed for a vampire to make a funny about Buffy wearing such odd looking footwear. Buffy wanted to tell the vampire she could take the boots off to look normal but the vampire would always be stuck with that face, such was the joyous time that Buffy had to forgo, poor Buffy.

Buffy felt sad that there was never a big red button on hand so she could end every vampire, past, present and future.

See Why Buffy Coloured Her Hair - Part 7

Buffy agreed to go with Willow to meet her cousins Martyn and Christi the aged 21 and 19 years old, offspring of Darryl and Rosie Forster. Willow met Christi in the garden at the rear of the farmhouse and introduced herself to niece. “Hopefully I’ll be able to tell you some of the answers you need,” said Willow.

Willow stated, “I have studied long and hard about the whole property ever since I learnt your parents were interested in buying this property.” Christi smiled and asked her what she had found out about the area. “There are women in the area who were not the normal kind of witch one refers to. Other witches are experts renowned to be experts in the field of an elemental power or two,” said Willow.

“I knew a lot about this place so when I heard that you would be buying this farm I began to study as much as I could, to learn nigh on everything about this farm and I learnt why the women of this farms coven are not your normal sort of witches,” stated Willow.
Darryl agreed.

Rosie started to quietly laugh. She listened intently at who thought a woman might be this type of witch or that type. “Which one is it, are the women who live here this type of witch or that. I really would like to know being as I do not believe in witches,” said Rosie. Darryl began to read from one of the books he had written. “Several of the women who reside on the farm are not what the normal sort of witches are known to be.”

“A normal witch often has the power to control many forms of magic. Yet a witch who has learnt the control of an elemental form of magic will often want to concentrate on that form of magic. Willow was intrigued by what degree of control might ne had and asked to be told who had what elemental power.

Buffy didn’t really understand what was meant, “How could a woman who is considered to be a witch not be considered to be a witch,” she asked. Darryl smiled to Buffy. “There is no way that she could ever be considered to be one of those witches any coven none of the women of this farm are in a coven Many are welcomed as while the others who travel to be here are more powerful than other witches, those here are known to belong in the Ashen Blair Dorne.

Those women were quite infamous amongst the many others in the craft. The women were known to have more power than others as they are not restricted by any faith,” said Katie. Rosie looked confused and faced her husband “What do you mean by that?” she asked. Darryl began to grin “This will not clarify things for you,” but there is a chapel with a graveyard at the top of the hill, it is only for those of the Ashen Blair Dorne Coven.”

“Should a person unknown to the coven wander near to the chapel or the graveyard a warning will sound though only those in the graveyard know who the warning is and who or what the warning protects,” said Katie. “That is weird, can you tell me who else is in the graveyard or the Ashen Blair Dorne coven,” said Buffy abruptly stopping what she was saying.

They watched as a woman wandered through the field towards them, Willow waved the woman to come towards them, when the woman presented herself to Willow the woman announced herself as Niamh she said she was of the Ashen Blair Dorne coven. Willow asked her what elemental power she possessed, “Astral Projection and control of the weather,” said Niamh. Though I have to be aware what forms of weather are in the areas nearby.

“Should I create rain clouds to empty the rain in lands that are bone dry, though I need to be careful that there is not too much rain as that will create floods or landslides,” suggested Niamh. Christi became a bit shocked when she heard Victoria’s voice speak to her mind, Victoria told Christi that she had been given control of both the positive or negative aspect of the curse.

Unaware of what she meant Christi asked her to explain herself. Christi heard joy in Victoria’s voice, If you call on rain to feed the ground that myriads of plants rely on that is a positive but what if there is an over abundance of water and the rain flows in narrow channels that pulls plants from the ground, that is a negative aspect. The downpour of rain can be both positive and negative.
