Giles got a roommate in Spike during season 4, and this is the basis for this story competition.

500 words, although you can have 10 under or over.
Must be set at Giles' home
Must have Giles and Spike as the main characters.

I wouldn't know where to start.

But have there been other competitions similar to this one? Cos I'd love to read them.

If I knew anything about Passions other than what I know from Buffy, I'd write Spike and Giles snarking at each other during an episode.
Yes @TheXandyman there have been many competitions similar to this one though you might want to define what you meant by similar as I doubt the similarity you thought of was anything the same as I thought of.

The possible humour of the tale is not lost on me, though others might wish it was lost on me.
I cannot get over the tale of the Fangs - err sorry - Pangs being in the bath.
Or
The tale when Giles and Spike shared space in the bath as they watched Timmy go down the well (plug hole).

At the end of July as the tide flows down the beach and washes our duo's castle away.

Once something gets into my head, I have to write it down to stop it taking up head space. So, about 500 words written for this last night!

I can write a situation between Giles and Spike in one single line of dialogue:

'Where's the bloody remote? I can't find the bloody-you've hidden it again, haven't you?"

As much as I love Spike and love to write... I wish I could do this. ZERO confidence.

(Edit: I realize this brings nothing to the table, but I did it anyway.)

There you are @nightshade, or there it will be. There is my entry for the competition of Giles' best mate? At least I remember footage of them as swingers together from the series.
