The Sunnydale Coffee Party
(beats The Boston Tea Party hands down)

Buffy and Willow walked into Giles’ kitchen, they put their brightly coloured shopping bags on the work tops. Giles started at them. “I hope you are not going to be long, I will be starting to prepare what I’m having for my evenings meal soon.”

We won’t be long said Buffy trying to hide the sound of her giggles. Dawn took a few items from the shopping bags that they had carried in to the kitchen. “We have decided to give you a treat Giles, we will make you a proper afternoon tea,” said Willow, “made in Ceylon of course.”

“I don’t believe it, you two discombobulated colonialists have finally accepted the purity of tea!” exclaimed Giles.
“Of course, we are not biased to only offering you tea, you can have some coffee, if that is what you want,” added Willow giggling like an oriental cat on a hot tin roof.

“In an effort to try and make you feel at home you can have Bangers and Mash flavour, Tripe flavour, Spotted Dick or Blood Sausage flavoured imported from dear old blighty. Though we have brought the flavours that we would suggest, Almond, Coconut and Almond or unsweetened Almond flavoured milk,” said Buffy.

Willow added, but told Giles not to mention the normal milks that were, “Strawberry, chocolate or Banana or Rice or Cashew nut flavoured.”
“Huh what?” asked Giles.

Willow looked to Buffy, “Guess who was drifting off,” said Willow.
“Drifting off, he was, how dare he? He might end up with some odd looking and foul tasting expresso coffee with some brand of Full cream, Low fat, A2 Protein or Skim milk.

Not to mention the Light or Extra light milk, then there is the powdered milk and the strawberry flavoured powdered milk,” stated Buffy. “What say we make up the freeze dried and tell his lordship it is made from pure roasted beans,” said Willow.

Buffy said Giles would know the difference as bean coffee is stronger to which Willow suggested they use desert spoons not tea spoons. “That will make each cup of coffee taste stronger, except ours that is.”

Buffy told Willow she’d know the difference though she wasn’t too sure if Giles would. When Willow heard that a wicked grin crossed over her face, she took the wrapping from a 500 gm tin, drilled a hole in its base and fitted a big red button. She wrote the words, Press if Spike is Seen.

She put the upturned tin on the breakfast bar in Giles’ kitchen then giggling likes an insane Hyena went to find Spike. She wanted to tell him that Giles wanted to give him some money.

Oh how she longed to be the one who would press the big red button.
