Summary: Buffy Summers moves to upper state New York with Dawn to Port Charles, to live with her cousin Carly and her family.


Prologue

Jason Morgan sits by a bed in Intensive Care Unit holding the hand of his comatose girlfriend, Samantha McCall. Fresh tears drip down his face, as he looks at Sam. "Please Sam, you have to wake up." Sam's eyes remain close as Carly Alcazar enters the room. "Jason, how is she?" asks Carly in sympathy. Jason looks up in surprise "Carly, what are you doing here?" Carly walks over to him "He kicked me out"¦." Jason looks at her surprised " Because Lorenzo thinks, you only married him to get back at Sonny." Carly nods, "I did marry him only for revenge." Jason looks at Carly as anger takes over her. "I still love, Sonny. But, that bitch, his skanky girlfriend stole him away from me!" Jason looks at Carly "Carly, calm down." Carly yells at him "I am calm!" Jason sighs and rubs his forehead "Carly, Sonny and Reese are over." Carly flips her blonde hair "Good for them." Jason looks at her shocked "You don't care?" Carly nods lying " Nope, I'm over Sonny and I have moved on and so should you. He looks at Carly confused "What do you mean?" Carly stares at her best friend " You know what I mean, you need to let her go." She leaves the room and Jason calls for assistance in Sam's room. Dr. Rachel Adair walks down the ICU hall, her black heels clicking on the tiled floor. "Hello Rachel," says an familiar voice, she turns and finds out its none other than scheming AJ Quartermaine, her on and off again boyfriend." What is it?" she asks impatiently as she continues walking down the hall. AJ runs in front of her and blocks her path. "I got another idea for getting my son back from Carly." "Tell me later, replies Rachel annoyed at him, she pushes him out of her way and enters Samantha McCall's room. Jason stands up and looks at Rachel "Dr. Adair." "You called for me, Mr. Morgan?" Jason looks at Sam and back at Rachel. "Pull the plug." He says softly. Rachel nods in silence and walks over to the machine, her manicured hand tugs gently on the extension cord as she pulls the plug. Jason strokes Sam's hair and kisses her forehead.

Chapter 1


Jason Morgan kneeled down on the Port Charles Memorial cemetery's hollow ground. In front of Jason was a tombstone engraved with the words, Samantha McCall. Sam had been dead for eighteen months and Jason had blamed himself for her death. If only he knew someone rigged the car's brakes and that he and Sam would be involved in a serious car accident, injuring them both, he would get a concussion and Sam would be left in a coma. He waited for Sam to wake up from her state but she never did. Jason didn't want Sam to suffer anymore so he had Dr. Rachel Adair pull the plug. What noone knew was that Sam's coma state was meant for Jason, himself. Someone loathed Jason and wanted him dead. That someone was Jason's no good scheming brother, AJ. AJ wanted to earn back everything that was taken away from him including respect. Jason began crying and than suddenly stopped when a strange creature came running towards him and a young woman with long blonde hair was chasing the creature and was holding what looked like a pointy piece of wood. The creature saw Jason and hissed at him baring its fangs, it quickly pounced on him. Jason tried fighting the creature off but it had him pinned onto the ground. Jason screamed trying to fight the creature off suddenly realizing it was a vampire. The vampire sunk its fangs into Jason's neck piercing and breaking Jason's skin. Jason quickly winced in pain "Hey!" said the young woman to the vampire. The vampire continued biting Jason and in a muffle "Huh?" Buffy quickly threw the vampire off Jason. "Didn't you know it's rude to eat and talk with a mouthful?" The vampire growled at Buffy and Buffy quickly jabbed her wooden stake through its heart. She watched the vampire turn to dust as she admired her handiwork until Jason got up slowly with pain. Buffy ran towards Jason and made him lean onto her. She looked at him worried. " I need to get you to the nearest hospital, you're losing a lot of blood." Jason nodded as Buffy quickly picked him and carried him away to General Hospital.
