They ran for shelter from the ghosts, quickly Dawn, Carlos and Kit ran into what they thought was the boiler room. Carlos slammed the door behind him. “Where are we?” he asked.
“I thought the sign on the door said Boiler Room?”
“It did,” said Dawn, “but it’s as cold as a standup freezer, is it night in here?”
“Of course it is, the wonders of Moonlight,” said Spike.
“Spike!” exclaimed Dawn angrily and plunged a sewing needle into his arm.
“You can’t do that to people,” said Carlos.
“That isn’t a person, that is Spike and he is a vampire,” said Dawn.
“No I am not, am I? When you plunged that sewing needle into me did I not bleed?” asked Spike.
“He did, so he can’t be a vampire as vampires drink it they don’t bleed True Blood,” said Kit.
Kit continued she asked Dawn and Carlos if they should believe him if he wrote it down.
“Yes you should, you should always believe what you read in The Vampire Diaries,” said Spike.
“But only if it is written at the correct time,” said Kit.
“And when do you suppose when that should be?” asked Spike.
“From Dusk Till Dawn,” she said then smiled.
Dawn was about to open the door when her mobile phone began to ring.
“Oh that is loud isn’t it?” asked Dawn.
“That is why we prefer you don’t use them here,” said a Ghost.
Dawn answered her phone, declaring how wonderful the reception is, “I’m in the friggin basement! oh hello Buffy.”
“Is Buffy going to talk to Spike, I’ve got to hear that,” said Carlos.
“Hear what?” asked Kit.
“I’ve got to hear it when Buffy chats with Spike, it'll be like an Interview With A Vampire,” said Carlos,
“I hope she doesn’t scare him, or it’ll be a Fright Night for poor Spike.”
Wandering along the corridor they came upon two doorways, one doorway had a sign that said going up whilst the other said going down.
“What do they mean?” asked Dawn.
“Obvious isn’t it?” asked Buffy.
“Even a four year old could guess it,” said Spike.
“The higher learning is upstairs,” said Buffy.
“Vamp U,” said Dawn.
“While the other door goes down,” said Spike.
“To the Vampire Academy,” stated Dawn.
They wandered passed the doors into the realm where the light had faded completely none of them looked to the walls to see where they were, the Dark Shadows were gone.
Buffy pointed ahead, “I can see a window ahead.”
As they went to the window they thought that they saw Spike’s figure on the wall but they were not sure that it was him,
"Was it The Shadow Of A Vampire?” asked Kit.
“It might not be who else dresses in black?” asked Dawn,
“A Priest,” suggested Buffy.
“What if when seeing a black figure you see stripes of white?” asked Carlos.
“Oh, that means you just ran over a penguin,” said Dawn smiling.
