I ship Wesley and the therapy and emotional support he needs LOL
Both ships are kind of unhealthy, but I think Weslah had the potential to become better?
I wanted Wesley and Fred to get together on the principle that he deserves some happiness for once in his life, but their relationship is built on terrible grounds. He's unhealthily obsessed with her, and often condescending and disrespectful of her as a person.
On the other hand, his relationship with Lilah was built on sexual tension and self-hatred, not the best combination. I think had Lilah not died and been able to, say, work together with the gang, maybe he could have seen more of her as a person and let go of Fred.
