Just watched Flooded and Fredless last night, and this time around I'm more curious about Buffy and Angel's meeting spot than I am about what was discussed during that time.
Does anyone have any theories on where this meeting spot was? Buffy's comment to Giles in Flooded makes me wonder if this is just some random agreed upon place or if it is a place that is special to them, or somehow significant to their past relationship. The text, and the way Buffy says it, seems to emphasize that it might be a special place. Yet I can't really think of any place shown on screen or mentioned during their relationship that would meet the description of somewhere in between L.A. and Sunnydale.
Here is what I'm referring to.......
BUFFY: He knows that I'm ........... He, he needs to see me. I have to see him.
GILES: Yes, of course. You'll leave for L.A. tomorrow?
BUFFY: Not L.A. And not here. Somewhere in the middle. There's a, a place.
