You may want to post a “hello” thread in the general “Check-In” forum as well, so some more people can get to know you!
As far as general site navigation goes, clicking on the “Forum” bar will take you to the homepage of all the various forums here. From there, you can click on one that tickles your fancy and contribute to the discussion. Of course there’s more to do and play around with, but feel free to take things at your own pace.

If you want to add more to an existing conversation, typing it in the box at the bottom of the page is how to do so. There’s some tools for text like italicizing, bolding, underlining, and more, so feel free to take a look around the box.
Using the @ key followed by a user’s username, ex.
@Plasma, allows you to get their attention in the event that you want to respond directly to something they wrote or if you just want to get their attention. I wouldn’t recommend spamming that, since it can be a little too much, but it’s a useful tool for bigger threads and discussions. For ones with fewer responses, you’re probably fine without it.
