So what was so special about this specific time and date that 836 people came to the forum, when usually there are 40-odd people online at any given time? Maybe it was because on this date the moon was closer to Earth then it has been in 18 years.

I realize it was not the kind of answer you're looking for, and I'm sorry. But seriously, there's no way we could give you a definite, exact answer for why we had so many visitors at one time. The Buffies were in February, so that's not it. Unless we had some big event that could have drawn guests here, I don't know what we can tell you.

I just scrolled through my twitter to get to March 19 because I tweet about BB all the time, because I'm cool like that... There was nothing so I don't know. I just wasted a CRAPTON of time doing that though

I know on 3-18 the board came back to life. Admin had closed it to do some changes; this closure occurred over St. Patrick's Day. There is the possibility that dorms were planning things which had to be put on hold until the board was active again. That would have made it the 19th.

Yes we probably just got hit with a mass of search engine spiders after changes were made to the board.
