Angel pretending to be drunk, first time you watched, did you realize he was faking?

So that's what Josh Holloway looks like with his face shaved. Much better than the scruff he's got on Lost.

Angel's wearing a necklace? Seems weird.

Cordelia's first apartment: knowing how she evolves as a person later in the show, I feel super bad for her being poor. But it turned to be good for her in the long run. That was funny when she was trying to meditate.

I guess a lot of people loved the character of Lindsey, but he has irritated me from the very beginning.

Loved the part where Angel asks the other vampire "Can you fly" then kicks the vampire and his chair out the window. :: vampire

Cordelia screaming at a cockroach? seemed out of character. But maybe that's just because I know what she will be like later in the series and for someone starting new, it would not have been noticed.

Cordy screaming at the cockroach seemed perfectly in character for her at the time, as she was a spoiled (and hot and hilarious) princess in Buffy.

(Angel) Drunk , I would of not even guess that he had been faking it all long (lol) I thought it was so real , he did a great job doing what he did.

LMAO!^ Sorry erm....right, City of I enjoyed, Angel's necklace is an item they carried over from Buffy, he wore it in Innocence, and other eppys whose names I can't remember.
Cordy screaming at the cockoach is very much in line with her charactor at the time, I loved how Doyle was hinting at asking Cordy out!
Angel throwing Russel Winters out the window, and the leading up it, Angel's entrance was great!

I enjoyed the lead up to his appearence in the bar how the POV spilled nicley into his screen dialogue.

I enjoyed city of. I hate lindsay, never liked the guy. And unlike my bff, I do not find him cute at all. And Cordy screaming at the roaches...that's not screaming, put a roach or spider infront of me and I will show you how to really scream.

I'm not 100% on this, but I don't know of anyone else taht has said they hate Lindsay - I cannot stand the guy - I think I love you:)

With the drunk thing they were definitely trying to portray the metaphor of an addict which sets the darker tone. I could actually believe that Angel would have lost a part of himself when he lost Buffy. He was faking his drunken state but we know what lurks beneath and that's the real twist: as we see later on one drink can get him hooked...

I liked Lindsay. He really sets the tone of W&H. A structure for power and not justice, something that drives his character even beyond the contraints of his conscience but his justification later on we'll see makes his character more interesting but I liked how he stood up to Angel.

Can you fly? Classic Angel!
