10/30 - Episode 1.07 - Matchmaker [Airing November 7]: Robin is doing a story on Love Solution, a very successful matchmaking company founded by Ellen Pierce. Ellen has a breakdown when she fails to find Ted a match. Dr. Sarah O'Brien is the perfect future Mrs. Ted, but she is no longer available.
10/30 - Episode 1.08 - The Duel [Airing November 14]: Ted and Marshall decide to settle the battle over who will get to keep their apartment like "mature" men -- with a good old-fashioned sword fight. As Lily becomes more of a permanent fixture in the apartment, Ted feels like he is being edged out of the mix by his engaged roomies. Petrified of being left alone and homeless, Ted tells Marshall that when he and Lily are married, he wants the apartment. The problem is that Marshall wants to keep the place too, so they settle it like real "grown-ups" -- launching into a sword fight that leaves one man down for the count. Source: CBS
10/30 - Episode 1.09 - Pineapple Incident: Ted wakes up to find a huge pineapple on his nightstand, a strange girl with long brown hair (Trudy) on his bed and his ankle sprained. When Trudy wakes up, she explains to everyone what happened as Robin shows up to discuss Ted's calls to her the night before.
10/30 - Episode 1.10 - Belly Full of Turkey: Lily and Marshall go to his parent's for Thanksgiving. His entire family is huge and all the furniture is built accordingly. Little Lily has hard time fitting in and all hell breaks loose when she announces she is keeping her last name when they get married. Robin, Ted and Barney spend Thanksgiving volunteering at a homeless shelter, which Ted finds is not so giving. Lily fears she might be pregnant.
