The Longest Day

11/17 - Tru poses as a case worker under the name Stephanie Brandis. She learns about Michael Mancuso, whose daughter was diagnosed with a serious heart condition. Mr. Mancuso also lost his job six months before and his life insurance is about to expire. He needs medicine for his daughter but it's too pricy for him (2 pills for $ 500). No one can help him... at least not exactly when he demands it. His daughter is getting worse and he's willing to do anything to get the money for the pills, even robbing. Tru's job is to prevent Michael's death. The day will repeat at least 3 times.

cool I always wondered what would happen if she couldn't save someone, I just figured they would be dead... but I guess she gets to do it over and over again..
 
yeah about the fireman thing, Tru was never ment to save the fireman she was ment to save the little girl, I guess it was the Fireman who asked for the help because she prolly wouldn't have found the little girl, she could find a fireman easily...
 
yeah, finally the answer to "what if she can't save them?" that should be interesting... if after three times it doesn't work, it prolly wasn't meant to happen tho...

about the fireman, on the 2nd time he died he didn't ask for help, but i still wonder why he asked and not the kid... wouldn't you think only the one who wanted the help would ask? But maybe that woul get too easy for her, throwing it in like they did added some questions.
 
I think the fireman asked for help because maybe he felt that he failed not saving her the first time.

I don't necessarily think that Tru is always meant to save the people who ask her for help, just let them fulfill what they were supposed to do.

In this episode, Tru has to save the life of a father who it seems is killed while robbing a drug store. The father, Michael, is desperately trying to get enough money to buy medicine for his daughter (Elizabeth). Tru relives this day multiple times, having been unable to find the correct combination of events to save him.

I missed it!! The weather channel stayed on for 2 hours and it never came on.Does anyone know if it will air again?
