This episode has some hilarious scenes.
Most notable is of course the toenail clipping and pen tapping scene. The milk drinking should not be missed either.
Love those slow motion scenes with enhanced sound and then the close up to Buffy's eyes when she goes crazy. Just great.
Always fun to see Buffy go a bit crazy.
Must say that I'm pretty sure that I would go crazy too if someone played 'Believe' over and over again lol.
As I understand it though so was it the nightly soul sucking thing that caused Buffys craziness. Not the extremely annoying roommate.
Can't help wonder how long Buffy would have made it with Kathy as a roommate before going crazy anyway though...

^ Yeah, that was the reversal. Buffy's not intolerant of her roomie's insanity! She's getting her soul sucked!

Well, roommates war with demon twist. It was not bad, but not notable either. One thing i wondered was it some language or random words as demonic language? If she was 3000 years old then how old was the guy that retrieved him? I guess that is a question that will never be answered.
Boys really should have gotten real shackles instead of using rope. That rope was too big for their own good. Smaller rope would have gotten it done much better as would not been so unwieldy in my opinion.
Oh, and little hints of future to come as both Parker and Veruca were shown. Ironically both not so good things to come. Have to say unlike with rope boys hit the bullseye with the drive by comment, albeit perhaps not with the right dart.
Best part is that this was the last episode that felt like warmup for real season start. In other words this and previous episodes were like some transition from S3 to S4 in my eyes and next episode really started the season. In my view anyways 🙂

Can´t say that this is one of my favourite episodes but it does include some funny scenes. Not like an episode can be totally bad. Buffy going crazy and no one believing her is of course the best part. Since I´ve never had a roommate I can´t totally understand how bad it is to have to live with someone you really don´t get along with. Even if it isn´t hard to get that it would be extremly annoying.
And no one can be surprised that Willow and Buffy ended up as roomies. Something had to happen to Kathy.

its GREAT to see a spazzy angry out of control and frustrated slayer.
I especially love the slow motion of the sauce onto her sweater... and CHER! gotta love to hate the CHER!
I thought this episode was kinda like something from the high school days of the show.. it was one of those scenarios that a lot of people can relate to (the nightmare room mate)
