Episode: Eternity

Discuss this episode here. What were your likes and dislikes? Did you like the character of Rebecca? Did you think that Angelus had really returned?
 
Not my favorite episode. I mean, Rebeca annoyed me to no end and I just wanted her to get killed off. Angel being her bodyguard was not exciting, IMO, so that wasn't great. The only thing I really liked was the end with Angelus briefly coming back. I thought it was real and was shocked. Angelus is always fantastic, so even fake!Angelus being here for a brief period of time was awesome. So...5/10
 
So, did you guys think that it was really Angelus, come out to play for that short time? Or was it just Angel being a little confused? I had always wondered about that one.

I think it was really Angelus coming out for a short time. We saw Angel getting a little "confused" in Season 2, and he wasn't anywhere near as sadistic or evil as Angelus. I think it was definitely Angelus coming out, because the way he acted....very Angelus!
 
Eternity is one of my favourite Angel episodes. If I was ever showing someone one episode to show them how great Angel is, I would make them watch this. I love it. David Boreanaz as Angelus is fantastic as always, and the fact that they only gave us a little hint of Angelus in the first season was really smart, I think. And it really had that LA-feel to it too, with the actress who wanted to stay young forever.

Classic season 1 Angel. 😀
 
There were aspects of the show that I liked; I actually did like the idea of Angel being her bodyguard. Once again this was very much a stand-alone detective story. Her being an actress when 'angelus' first came out I simply thought it was Angel acting. He didnt seem very Angelus to me.
 
It´s and okay storyline, but has great quotes *_*
Like Angel saying "I thought I knew eternity" when they watch Cordy acting xD
And it´s sweet to watch Angel getting along with the women.. I mean, it was different and natural.
And Angelus, hey! I love Angelus 😀

But the episode has one of those things that bugs me... Angel got all Angelus with a simple drug... It´s so ridiculous that W&H or even Darla never thought that xD

I liked this episode mostly because Wesley says sth about Angel experiencing pure happiness with Buffy(which the characters of this show have to understand...it's not sex which makes him happy...anyway!) and i had no prob seeing Angel as a bodyguard!

Of course i enjoyed the Angelus behaviour!I am still not so sure of who that was...was it Angel believing he was Angelus cause of the happiness!? or was it a brief visit from our evil,sadistic Angelus?no matter who that was it felt great to see his most honest notifications about Wes and Cordy...and i like Cordy's response...i didn't expect her to act so confident!
