10 Days of Angel Day 5: Season 3

Ok, it's my least favorite season.

The only things I love are Darla and Baby Connor. I liked Gunn/Fred and Groo too. 🙂 But I think Groo spent too long time on screen. He's in the season for like 6-7 episodes. Too long. I understand that Holtz had history with Angel, but he's so full of himself. And who the heck would ask a girl to make 2 holes on his own neck like that!? He's nuts, but it's clever.

Anyway, there're some great episodes, like Billy, Carpe Noctum, Lullaby, Birthday, Waiting In The Wings. Then, it went downhill. I also like Provider. At least, it's a light episode before everything went dark and sad. Even the sight and sounds of Vegas in Double or Nothing can't help. Tomorrow was a great season finale, though.

I liked Connor at first, but just for an episode, you'd know right away that he can't be with the team. I was surprised that he stayed that long in S4.

Favorite scenes :
- Darla staking herself to save Connor.
- Wesley discovered the fact that "The Father Will Kill The Son".
- Angel and his team collected the money in the last scene of Provider. LMAO.
- Angel was thrown down in the sea, while Cordy's ascending to be higher being. 🙁
 
I LOVE season 3! In some ways it's my favourite season, I love that everyone's still together as a team and the whole thing with Darla and Connor is great. 🙂
 
This is my least favorite season too. Full of average episodes, and all of the main characters i feel, while still likeable, changed for the worst, especially Wes and Cordy.
I really disliked how that, because Kate left and Lorne, Cordy and Gunn moved into the Hyperion, it took away the varity of places.
Too much hotel, not enough Caritas, Streets, Cop stations and Cordys place.

I did really like the Holtz storyline though. He did end up a very messed up guy due to Angel, but was still very interesting.
I liked how he swooped into town and was instantly a big player. Great scene when he single handedly takes down the full W&h special ops team, and when he outsmarts W&h to take Connor.
The Offspring-Lullaby mini arc about Holtz/Angel was the seasons highlight for me.

Agree about the lack of Caritas, streets and police stations and Cordy's place. I want more Kate. :)
I'm a bit torn about this season. I love the Holz arc and Wes's character development and it do have Fredless. I'm kind of indifferent to the whole Darla being pregnant thing though. Because of it we got some great scenes and I don't hate Connor like so many seem to do even if I can get very annoyed at times. But in the end I still don't feel like I would have missed it if it hadn't happened even if I know Wes development is because of that storyline.
 
Its got some good eps but i find it really hard to watch the wole thing with holtz and wes betraying the team, and then connor sending angel to the bottom of the ocean.

Its a good season dont get me wrong, but the last half is just reallly full on.
 
Oh and Wesley became my favourite character because of the excellent character development. He's one of the best characters.
