Didn't anyone else get a little bit scared by Der Kindestod? He was mentioned in the staff discussions but didn't make it to the eventual top ten...and as for Ethan Rayne not being top ten...don't get me started... 😉
 
I fiind that list to be the weirdest of the lot. How can the first be higher than the Mayor? A villain that takes so much glee in his evil is so much more interesting than something that just has no charisma(or body, depth, death, and a million other things that were lacking). Glory being number one I also find odd, as Gods go, she was a bit skanky.

I think I'd have Angelus battling it out for top spot with the mayor. I'd probably include The Master somewhere in my list.

I really wanted to tie Faith and Spike for first, but I couldn't think of any other villains that really struck a chord with me. I hated the First, even though it opened up S7 to be myth-o-rama. I don't care. It was annoying.

I liked the Trio, but not enough to mention. They lacked...stuff. And I hated the whole of season four, and while I think Adam was a good villain, there was something about him that really bugged me. Not sure what.
 
Heh I can't see Faith as a villain, so my favourites would be:
The Mayor ('cause of his awesome hilariousness and evilness)
Caleb ('cause he's actually scary and cruel)
Glory ('cause.. I like her, not always though)
Spike (well he's Spike)
Willow (well.... she's Willow?)
